Dr. Blick and his team are outstanding! After recently moving to CT after 7 years in S. Florida me and my husband were concerned about who we would find as a gay health care provider in CT. We have not been disappointed. The staff have always been both pleasant and professional. Dr. Blick has been pro-active in making sure that we are on track with our medical needs and has been incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns my husband and I have had. Expert health care doesn’t have to be cold and clinical, and Health Care Advocates is proof. Warm, friendly, inclusive, caring… sometimes you need more than just care, you need an advocate. Complimented with care workers, community clothes closet and non profit pharmacy. Total health requires holistic care.

As a patient of Dr. Gary Blick’s for more than thirty years, I cannot adequately express my gratitude to Gary and his staff for the level of care that I have enjoyed and benefited from. As a gay man, I feel comfortable expressing my health concerns to Gary, Elyse and the rest of the staff without feeling any level of judgement or without any sense of ignorance about the unique needs of the lgbtq community. I feel as though Gary and the staff meet me exactly where I am as a person and I’ve never felt any sort of a ‘medical agenda’ being imposed on me as their patient. The nature of Gary’s brand of proactive medical treatment has convinced me that the office staff stays on the cutting edge in their approach to every health threat from HIV to COVID to Monkey Pox. On scale of one to five, he is off the scale I would say spectacular in both his personal care and that of his staff. They are the most responsive and professional services you could ever hope for He is a modern doctor, very progressive very forward thinking always making sure that I’m at the leading edge of healthcare ,testing, immunization, and medicine At the same time, he reminds me of the hometown family Doctor who knew you as a kid, who knew your family, who knew your personal situation and took all that into account providing your treatment with humanistic care. In HCAI and Dr Gary Blick I have the best of both the traditional and the modern progressive medical care that you could want.

Dr. Gary Blick MD and his whole team at HCAI are the absolute best out of everywhere else I’ve been to seek medical care. From the front desk with Michael to Laura RN and Dr. Blick himself, they’re not only so friendly and supportive as staff, but also so caring. I cannot imagine ever going anywhere else. Also, their Koop Pharmacy is the most convenient and easy service I have ever experienced for prescriptions! To have all my medications mailed automatically to my home at such a rapid delivery, is beyond convenient. Thank you so much Dr. Blick & Team for everything you guys do for my family and myself.
