I completed the 120 hour medical interpreter training program and I enjoyed the program from beginning to end. Ms. Csilla Elam, owner and primary instructor at that time was always very easy to work with and understood the difficulties of balancing work with on-line courses. She herself was a busy person with her own activities of life to juggle and thus it made the word flexible schedule a tangible meaning in the program. But a schedule we had and for the most part we kept to it. Her lessons were for the most part clear and if they weren't or if there was any difficulty in getting clarification or getting the answers back to her in the right format, she was easily accessible by phone and e-mail and you did not need to go chasing her around, she sometimes had to go chasing me to find me and quite patiently at that. I learned a lot from the program and I had already used medical Spanish in one of my professions in the past but it is a class well worth taking and if you plan on going for certification, she has all the information you will need to help you with that. I still have many of her lessons left in my computer to practice every now and again. I keep her diploma along side my higher education degrees and certifications from my fields in which I practice. Now that I am semi retired, her diploma goes well as I plan on possibly doing volunteer work a few nights a week doing Spanish medical interpretation for those less fortunate. George A Alcalde
