Our daughter has attended both the local public school district and Heritage Oak and the difference in the quality of the curriculum is unbelievable. We are blessed by what she is learning and at the pace in which she is learning it. She has quality friendships and excellent relationships with the staff. It is a loving environment with high expectations for education, moral and faith. Heritage Oak School has greatly exceeded our expectations!

This is my sixth year teaching at Heritage Oak School. I teach all secondary Math and Chemistry. I have and do enjoy my job teaching here. The Classical Education is far more beneficial to students than a public school education in my opinion. Students are respectful and enjoy learning. The levels of maturity and developmental abilities are taken into consideration in this curriculum which allows students to maximize their learning. A disciplined learning environment coupled with small classroom size are also of great benefit to the students.Biblical principles are practiced here. My experience at Heritage Oak School is always positive. It is a great joy to teach students who are eager to learn.

This school is so special to me and my family. This is our fourth year at this school and I have two daughters attending. My first daughter has started kindergarten here, learning cursive immediately, memorizing poems and bible verses monthly, additional to basic curriculum. I was blown away that they could learn so much each month! Now she is in 3rd grade, loving her teacher, and now Keyboarding and Latin! I am so happy to see the parent involvement every day. It really is such a blessing to see that good manners and morals are taught and demonstrated. I know I don't have to worry about bullies at this school, for the children are taught to be kind and loving to each other, even praying for each other in school! I wish my school experience was like this as a child. Thank you, Lord, for guiding us to Heritage Oak School!

I attended HOS from preschool to graduation and developed life long friendships that have been invaluable from teachers, staff, and peers.
The education I received balanced intelligence with kindness to develop self educators who were taught how to think rather than what to think.
I especially loved the Omnibus program which is full of quality books, guidance through some of the most difficult concepts, and honest about daily struggles.
I hope many more students get the opportunity to learn to think here and grow to become well rounded and creative individuals.

Our two older children graduated Heritage Oak and went on to complete their University education while our two younger children are still students. We appreciate the personal touch that this school offers and appreciate that all of our children have been or are being thoroughly equipped to critically think and reason with a biblical worldview as well as be scholastically competitive.

Heritage Oak School is a true gem in our community. This is a school that cares deeply about its students and strives to promote a deep love of Christ and love for each other in all its students. Our daughter will be starting her second year with this school on Tuesday.

Heritage Oak School has superceded my expectations! Before I continue with this review I must thank God for answering my prayer. Jesus led us to find this wonderful school. I have a 2nd and 3rd grader currently attending and they absolutely love it! The curriculum is superb. One of my sons is really enjoying the Latin class that Mrs. White teaches. I could have not asked for better teachers. Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. McMillan are professional, caring and dedicated teachers. Every day I get a report of how my children are doing. When I drop off my boys, I have the peace and assurance that they will be safe. They have quickly made lots of nice friends. I appreciate that our children are prayed for daily. It is awesome to know that each morning the kids start school with prayer and worship. In such a short time I see my children growing academically and their faith increasing. I rejoice knowing that I made the right choice enrolling my kids in this school. There is no school like this one in the town of Tehachapi.
