Initially, I was thrilled to sign my up at this facility. My intent is not to slander anyone, but I will express my disappointment with the outcome of my son’s transition. On the first day, my son was nervous and excited which was completely normal. I was told he had a great day. I was thrilled. On the second day, my son was still a little anxious, which can be expected, and I was told by his teacher that he had an even better day, and she had indicated that there were some issues the previous day. I was never informed about any potential issues the previous day. By the third day, and the day leading up to the third day, my son expressed that he did not want to go to school. He’s specifically said he did not want to see his teacher. I assumed it was just him having a challenging time adjusting. When it was time for his third day, the morning of was a disaster. He was crying and refused to go inside. It got so bad that he was on the verge of a panic attack.There was minimal support and there was no discussion of a transition plan when my son was having a difficult time. When I approached the office, we were told rudely to have our teacher help us transition. When I went to my son’s classroom, the teacher told us to tap on the door when we were ready to come in. My son was on the verge of a panic attack and no one came out to assist us. No one came out to greet him or encourage him to come inside. We were very sad and disappointed, to say the least, about this outcome. We felt like we were not supported, and the administration had an arrogant vibe. The most disappointing and hurtful experience was being verbally attacked by the administration when we expressed our disappointment in the outcome. No one inquired about our son’s well-being or asked if he was doing OK.

We Love Heritage School! We tried another program in town and transferred as soon as a spot opened up for our little one. Heritage lets the kids be little and their outdoor classroom is so much fun! They have a wonderful garden and chicken coop that the kids tend too. The growth we've seen in our son over the past year and a half has been the best part. He's growing into a confident and kind little boy and I'm sure it has a lot to do with the great people at Heritage!

A quality program that truly honors childhood. Heritage is a great community with wonderful families, well trained staff, and passionate administration. The outdoor classroom is a true gem with a mud kitchen, sand play area, an organic garden, chicken coop and so much more! Truly a child’s paradise! ?

We love Heritage School of Discovery because it has continued to grow and teach our kids since my youngest started six years ago. With three kids attending heritage over those years we have had experience in difference classrooms with different teachers and have come away continuing to recommend it to friends and family. I love the outdoor play space and the exposure to many different subjects and hands on learning. So grateful for a place where my children have been welcomed with open arms and I love that they are constantly working to make the experience better. It shows! Thank you Miss Becky and Miss Brooke especially for all you do!

I don’t think that the school has experienced staff to deal with the children’s needs properly. I saw firsthand with my own child that was set aside and all I got was unhappy photos all throughout the day. I was really disappointed with how this preschool tends to the children. All parents that have children attending the school should get a better result than what we got. I am definitely disappointed in the final result as I cannot see how this preschool even gets a five star rating. I gave it one star because out of obligation because there was no zero stars. I would not recommend this preschool for any parents that really want to see their kids advance.

My son absolutely LOVES Heritage. He is so excited to go to school and spend time with his teachers. They have tons of outdoor play, which is so good for the kids. They are very communicative when it comes to my son, and send pictures daily. He has learned so much during his time there. Would definitely recommend Heritage for your little ones.

We love Heritage and the staff! Both of my children had their first school experiences at Heritage and it was the perfect introduction for them. The combination of hands-on activities indoors and outdoors tied into standards was something we hadn’t seen before. My children have an increased love for nature and an understanding of plants and living things around them due to their education at Heritage. I highly recommend this preschool!

This an amazing school, of fun, learning all day for young children. Your kids will love it, is home away from home. Over seeing the laughter, fun, excitement with children first hand is such blessing.
