I was a high school senior counselor here in April and this was one of the worst experiences of my life. The students that they allowed to come here were horrendous and seriously mentally troubled. The staff did nothing to help with these kids and instead only made us lead them on our own. Although the students were not the fault of the camp, the camp had plenty of problems. The beds were dirty, rooms smelled bad, counselors had little to no sleep due to poor planning of activities, food was horrible, and the staff made counselors work in the kitchen as a “fun experience” despite having to work with chemicals like bleach with no direct access to gloves or any kitchen training. Despite this horrible experience, the camp had hot chocolate available for the counselors which was the only comfort in this otherwise soviet style work camp. My favorite part was leaving on the drive back home.

tldr: Horrible experience, many many many bad features, do NOT come here if you like nature, instead come here if you like being worked like a servant.

I went here when I was 12. Some activities were fun and the food was mostly good. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the super steep hikes. The only negative outcome of going to High Trails was I ended up getting super sick with the flu. Otherwise it was okay.

I went to High Trails when I was like 10 or 11 years old as a student at Eagleview Middle School. I am in my late twenties now and still remember this being one of the best experiences of my childhood. We did hikes, archery, are delicious food, stayed in cabins just all types of cool and wonderful things I had never experienced before. I hope to be able to send my kids here! The Counselors are amazing! 10/10

I went here when I was around 10, and I have great bonding memories there. I made amazing life-long friends and learned what I was made of. It was an excellent experience, both physically and mentally. Councillors were the best people, and the food was superb. I can't imagine my life without going here.

I just got back from High Trails today and let me tell you I loved it! The staff and counselors were really nice and understanding. I will definitely be going back as a high school counselor when I am older. Keep up the great work, high trails! Keep it awesome!😊

Food was amazing!!!the have seniors as councilors usually 6th grade goes as a requirement. You play awesome games!There are multiple thing to do they have a hoe down a museum hikes and more! They are great!I hope this is help ful!!!
