Several years ago…..he did a surgery on me with a great outcome. He was very compassionate and caring. I am a nurse and us nurses know who to let care for you. He manages his patient and expects the best care be provided to his patients. Hopefully I don’t need a urologist again but if I do it’s Dr. Hong!😊

Appointment are made months in advance and once you sign in at the office it it at least a two hour wait before even seen by the doctor. This man has no bedside manner or respect for his patients. His office staff is also very rude and inconsiderate of anyone's actual health. I wouldn't waste any of your time even thinking about scheduling to see him.

So, I started this review as I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes. My appointment was at 3:00 for a vasectomy consultation. Upon arriving on time, I signed in, and then it took 15 minutes before someone acknowledged I was there. They then gave me some new patient paperwork to complete, which took 5 to 10 minutes to finish. I finally get called and placed in a room. The atmosphere is eerily quiet. There was one employee training another on the paperwork, so they were asking me a bunch of questions. After the staff completed their paperwork, I waited for the doctor. After 75+ minutes, I finally get seen by the doctor. He looks at my junk for 30 seconds and says I can schedule the procedure with the front desk. Completely unorganized with no regard for patients' time.

*Update*
The vasectomy appointments are 4 to 6 weeks out and are completed on Fridays. I schedule my appointment and 2 days prior I receive a call from their office. The lady is was confirming my appointment, she then proceeds to tell me that I have a $120 copayment, only payable in cash and is due prior to the service. I questioned the amount because I had already reached out to my insurance to inquire about my cost, and I was told it's 100% covered. She tells me that is what my insurance told her was my copayment. Fine, I paid it, got a receipt, and what do you know, when I got my explanation of benefits (EOB) from my insurance it was 100% covered. I had to go down to their office to get a refund. I stick to my previous statement "Completely unorganized with no regard for patients' time".

Staff was very pleasant, I was able to schedule my procedure within a couple weeks of the consult. Doctor was timely on the day of the procedure and the healing process went on as expected with no complications. A follow up appointment was scheduled promptly and additional follow up were performed per industry practice. I would recommend this doctor.

Dr. Hong set up an appt. for my husband that meant waiting 2 months. After the long wait, my hubby could not be seen because there was not a family member with him to relate the details of his medical life.. He came from an Alzheimers facility and was accompanied by a nurse who had the charts of everything that was pertinent to his life. I am very disappointed in this Dr. and would not recommend him to anyone.

Not happy with my experience here. Waiting for almost an hour after my appointment time to see the doctor. Place seems totally un organized. They also do not accept credit card as payment this is 2020 that is in acceptable.

First appt. with Dr. Hong for my mom. She really liked him and so did I. Staff really pleasant as well. We will seeing him again for sure!
