I loved the environment of the horses! The reason i rated 2 stars was because whenever i had a lesson, I would be forgotten about and jamie would never give me the lesson i was paying for. She would send a CHILD (11 years old) to help with and teach me my lesson! Jamie could never even remember my name. I learned some stuff but i could’ve learned more if the actual lesson teacher would give me my lesson i would pay for. I hope this can help horse feathers improve because i love the horses and the entire property is beautiful. I have zero input about horse boarding, only about summer camp and weekly lessons that i did in the past for around 3 years.

Jamie squeezed us in for a first lesson, and made an exception because my daughter is 4. She fell in love. Jamie was absolutely amazing. My daughter looks forward to spending more time with Jamie and the horses. ❤️ Thank you!

This is not your regular place where you get an hour of lesson and be done. It’s team work , it’s taking and learning responsibility and growing in a way that makes working with horses unique.
Ms. Jamie the owner is incredibly skilled and very patient with kids. She teaches them more than lessons/ I call it life skills.
It’s a fun environment where your child gets to learn taking responsibility and experiences the uniqueness of the horses. Every day , every lesson , every situation is different.

I’ve worked with Jamie on a professional level over the the past couple years and she’s extremely organized, thoughtful and an expert in her field. I can’t recommend her enough if you’re interested in trying out an addictive equine hobby or looking for after hours horsemanship courses for your little ones. She’s an excellent instructor and even if it’s just one lesson, you’ll leave with a better understanding and maybe a positive experience that will bring you back again.

I highly recommend Horse Feathers .. my 10 yr old daughter has high aniexty and this is exactly what she needed. Miss Jamie is amazing and has trainied her horses beautifully. I asked my daughter how her first day was and she said " best day ever".
Be prepared to get in and get dirty ! So much fun working with horses ! ?
