The fault concerning any of my bills belongs to me. I am not debating that. But to put me through the process, check all of my paperwork, said everything was perfect, and then get denied heating assistance? AND tell me different things at different phone calls? That was ridiculous.

I am self-employed and I made that clear to the worker. I had my tax forms, proof that I made less than $200 this year. I have no insurance. Everything was 0 across the board. I made mad dashes all over the place to make sure everything was in place. I had been down this route before, got everything printed out, proof in hand. The worker was impressed (or, so he said).

I was promised help at the end of my appointment. I was given a business card and said to call when I had a problem. To a trauma survivor, that means everything. But now, after several issues between HRA and CNG, it means nothing. CNG came through and that surprised me, considering what they did to our account.

The times I've called this worker afterward, I've felt like a burden because of what he says. He would help in his own way, but then change the story about our appointment and what was put forth, complain about how he's there PT and isn't supposed to help, etc. No matter what I tell him, I am always wrong.

It got to the point where I said I was done. I told him the worker he was obviously busy and could not help and just hung up. He said wait, but I did not want to anymore. I would rather freeze than have to deal with this process ever again.

The employees who meet with you are fantastic, patient and knowledgeable. The front desk woman could use a little sympathy, kindness, attitude and patience training to avoid adding to already stressful situations…

Parking at this location can be difficult. I have had very pleasant experiences with the staff. Most appointments are made through an automated phone system. Although, I am sure they would try and assist you with that in person if you walked in.

My parents are 93 and 89 on social security and small $67 pension. I give them all documentation including bank deposits and she still said that this is not enough. Unbelievable!!! The gas bill was half of my Mathers SS benefits. In simple words Discrimination!!

They are very friendly in the office and are there to help people like me on a fixed income singal mother of two growing children. I really do appreciate programs like this that can assist people like me who work 7day a week two partime jobs because I'm a singal mother who really needs the help and doesn't abuse the system. Can barely get any type of assistance for anything because I am a working mother and I do not depend on the Department of Social Services ie..State of Ct to help me. however at HRA they understand that and they are there to help and to make sure that I get the proper services that me and my children need and deserve.

I don’t understand how this place have so many stars the STAFF ARE RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL!! These are FALSE RATINGS I MADE A REPORT LAST YEAR AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED!! People don’t feel you owe them anything they are customer service employees they ARE their to GIVE US SERVICE BUT TO BE RESPECTFUL REPORT DO A CHANGE NOT ONLY FOR YOURSELF BUT TO MANY MANY OTHERS ESPECIALLY THE ELDERLY AND PERSON WITH DISABILITY AND THAT COMES FROM OTHER COUNTRIES FOR OUR HELP!! SPEAK OUT!!!
