My daughter's ACT score increased by 6 points. Her success came from the customized tutoring from Huntington Learning Center. Huntington provides a thorough evaluation of a student's ACT score to identify the areas where improvement is needed, and which, guides them in the tutoring of the student. Huntington takes the time also to teach the test taking skills the students need on a timed assessment. I could not recommend a better center.

We really liked the methods used for tutoring our daughter. The Directors were very informative regarding her progress and the tutors were really good. My daughter started the program in January with D’s and F’s and by the end of the school year she was getting A’s, B’s and C’s. Lastly, they were very accommodating to schedule changes. Overall, we are very happy with Huntington and would recommend them to any parent that has a struggling student. Worth every penny!

My daughter is in the third grade and needed help because she was very far behind in basic math and she wasn't reading at her grade level. Huntington has helped her by building her phonics skills and she now loves reading and is more confident than ever. She even reads to us every night before bed! My husband and I went here to get the assessment for our child who was needing a little extra support. After looking over the website, it seemed promising that they would be the best fit to help our child. We took the 3 hour assessment and went back for the review of the assessment the following week. My husband and I left here feeling terrible. They didn't have one positive thing to say about our child. Do you know how hard it is to sit there and hear how awful your child is at their academics for over an hour? No parent should ever have to sit through this, each child has successes. Each page of the binder and the work sample they showed us, were failing. So, the grading scale of this "assessment''' is pass/fail. I am not sure what child would be able to pass this. At the end of the meeting when discussing the cost, our child needed 150+ hours of support to get them caught up to their grade. They also discussed that we could apply to get 0% financing to complete the program. It was a complete sales pitch. No parent should have to take out a loan for 18+ months to get their child help. The cost was insane. And the kicker is they do not administer this "assessment" at the end of the program to see the progress, so how would you now if the program works? My conclusion is, its because no child will ever pass this test, ever child will come out with some sort of "hours needed" to complete this program. I am highly disappointed.

Never take your child here unless you do not mind getting junk mail from them forever! We took our youngest son there, only for initial testing when he was in 4th grade. We never used their services. He is now a Senior in college, so it has been 12 years. We get junk mail from them weekly. I've called many times for many years, but nothing seems to help remove us from their mailing list.

This place is pretty much a retail store for their products, parents pay for the experiment, eh hem, experience. If you are looking for extra work in sales/tutoring (if there is such a thing) don't waste your time unless you have time to waste.
