My 11th-grade son received math tutoring from the Huntington Learning Center. It was a great service, and my son greatly appreciated the help he got. He used to say I understood more from the tutoring teacher than my math teacher at the school. Add to that the welcoming and kind administration. They are really into serving you and helping the child improve academically.

We have been helping our son with math and science at home, as both my wife and I hold advanced degrees in Engineering. However, starting in middle school, he became reluctant to accept our help. Eventually, we turned to the tutors at Huntington Learning Center to support him through high school. His subject tutor was instrumental in his success, particularly with AP Calculus and exam preparation. The tutor's knowledge and ability to break down complex concepts into understandable pieces were exceptional—something his classroom teachers struggled to achieve.
The cost of tutoring seemed high initially, but in hindsight, it was well worth the investment, especially when compared to private school tuition, on the academic aspect. The results speak for themselves: his SAT score increased by 200 points, which has likely positioned him for a significant merit scholarship. Overall, the ROI has been fantastic, and we’re incredibly pleased with the outcome.

Our oldest had a great experience out in Woodbury about 10 years ago as a 7th grader with math and after moving, I was very pleased with how this learning center in Roseville was able to take our younger twins (summer after first grade) with very different personalities and learning goals and help them both improve by multiple grade levels in reading. The teachers used humor, fun, and a range of focused learning techniques to keep my kids passion for learning and growing going strong!

Our 11th grader did ACT prep with Huntington. In the past, she did not test in ways that showed her true abilities and knowledge. The staff at Huntington in Roseville helped her gain confidence, improve test taking techniques, and improve her math and grammar skills. She just got her scores back and she exceeded the goal she set for herself! A big part of why Huntington worked so well is that the teachers were warm, encouraging, and knew their subject areas. We now have a much more confident test taker.

Twice this Roseville location goofed up. They scheduled our child for a practice ACT so we could start tutoring. First time, we showed up and they said they didn’t realize we were scheduled and couldn’t accommodate despite us having their confirmation text and voicemail and email in hand. So we rescheduled and showed up again two weeks later with all of the same confirmation notices and nobody there, door locked. I left work early for nothing. No apologies or any communication attempts from the center manager. Their number takes you to the national HQ and they apologized but nothing from this Roseville site. This seems to reflect poor management and communication. Leaving this review so other families are aware and can avoid this time wasting and disrespectful experience.

Hunting Learning Center has been getting me ready for this coming school year. I've been able to learn a lot of things. The teachers are great there, I got to meet a lot of new people. Joni is my absolute favorite.
