Huntington Learning Center in Skokie came highly recommended, and we are beyond grateful for the referral from another family. Their evaluation process is incredibly thorough, and Mrs. Cheri stands out in her dedication—clearly explaining the results and walking us through an individualized plan to support our child’s needs.

We’re thrilled with the progress our son has made in just a few months. He’s now excited and engaged in learning at the center—something we hadn’t seen at his school. The teachers not only support him academically, but their encouragement has also helped boost his confidence.

We have had an incredible experience working with the dedicated and extremely knowledgeable team at Huntington Learning Center in Skokie. My daughter (age 11) started working with the HLC team a couple of months ago to prepare for the CPS Academic Center test, and her love of learning has deepened even more due to her 1:1 sessions with Tianna and Susan. The support that Cheri, the owner and operator of HLC Skokie, has offered to us in terms of strategic planning and goal setting for my daughter has been invaluable, and Cheri's team has gone above and beyond to help her grow (for example, Susan reached out to my daughter's core subject teachers at her elementary school and sought feedback, which Susan then summarized and presented to me, with suggestions on learning plan adjustments). My family and I are very grateful to have such a strong team in place to continue to support my daughter's academic growth.

I absolutely recommend Huntington. Mia meets with us every few months to check progress and update goals. Instruction is flexible and student-centered while still concrete and measurable, and the tutors are dedicated and patient.

My sons have been going to Huntington learning center for about 3 years. When my older son had to take his act test, I sent him to a test prep place in Glenview. When he took his first test, he didn’t do well. As a result, I decided to send him to Huntington in Skokie. When he took Act, he did very well. When my younger son has to take ACT this September, I didn’t need to search any other place. I especially want to thank Maria for working with my younger son. She checks on my son’s progress and encourages him. Thanks Maria and Huntington🙏 If any parents looking for academic help or test prep, I highly recommend Huntington in Skokie.
