They told me on the phone green waste was 100 for an 8 ft trailer then when I got there it was 300.

I am very happy with Island Pacific Resource Recovery customer service. Twice now I have ordered material for my property and the quality is quite good. The 70/30 topsoil mixed with some compost I got free from the City worked perfectly for my raised garden beds.

After building more raised beds I decided to go with the planter mix which is higher in organic matter and it's going to be perfect, and no with no hand mixing.

I also ordered mulch for my garden. I didn't know what the wife would like so I went down on Saturday to get samples for her approval. We really wanted a brown material that wasn't dyed and the premium stump wood thats partly composted was perfect. Well there was a mix up and we got 3 yards of the 3/8 wood light colored wood chips.
I called the office and Lucy was extremely helpful. She checked the order and spoke with the delivery man Juan and yes, there was in fact a mistake. Immediately she offered to deliver the correct material.
When Juan arrived to deliver the mulch nobody was home. He called me for directions of where to place the mulch. While he was on the phone I asked for a picture of the material just to be sure. Juan politely and quickly sent over a picture to confirm. He palced the mulch exactly where I needed it.
I work is the services industry and learned a long time ago that everybody makes mistakes. Its how you follow up that really matters and Island Pacific Resource Recovery showed me that they are committed to providing quality custimer service. I'll be using them exclusively for all my needs moving forward.

I am truly disappointed!! I’ve been a customer for almost 15 years, and as of November 2023 they will be increasing their dump rates by 50%, this really crushes the small businesses as we can’t keep up with all these pricing hikes. I understand fuel cost increases but 50%? Now Sycamore landfill is officially cheaper than inland, I never thought I would see the day. And I’m sure their mulch cost will be going up as well so just be ready lol.

They're great and ALWAYS so helpful. I just found out but they are now closed on Sundays!!. Can this really be true! I do all my yard work on the weekends.
