It was ok, nothing spectacular - there was an initial consult, and I did not like the service one bit. It was hasty and rushed with no proper instruction. I am going to another PT place. Perhaps my experience was unique - because in the past, when I had gone to them (Mark treated me) it was great. This time it was Andrew who had "treated" me. Anyway - found a much better PT place.

After making sure to find the most frequently reviewed 5-star physical therapy facility in the Bethel area (having considered Danbury as well), I couldn’t be more pleased having ended up in the incredibly capable hands of Mark Dufresne (a gifted physical therapist and the principal at Insight). I have been in and out of PT my entire adult life for chronic back issues and state here confidently that I have never been to a facility more tuned in to my needs nor been with a therapist with as advanced an acumen for treatment as Mark. I started therapy at Insight having had shoulder surgery for a tear. A few weeks later, while at home, I haphazardly tore my meniscus and needed emergency surgery for that. Not only has Mark bent over backwards to meet a very demanding client in myself (as I seek to not just regain motion, but to fully reengage in challenging weight training and a generally athletic lifestyle), but he has had to foresight to realize that I will need therapy for my knee as well, and is already shuffling to work out a regimen that includes all my needs without creating the imposition of multiple separate visits and sessions (in effect seeking to utilize my sessions in manner considerate of my time, my money, and my personal goals for recovery). The staff has been incredible with finding ways to accommodate my schedule and the professionalism of Mark and his team is gold standard. I am grateful to have found this place.

I’ve suffered for over 10 years with severe back & hip pain, using a walker/cane for mobility which started at the age of 49. Having had numerous injections, MRI’s, CAT scans & x-rays and been to several other rehab facilities, Mark & his staff exceeded my expectations!

After two Orthopedic Surgeons denied my hip replacement surgery, Mark encouraged to try an Orthopedic Surgeon “specialist”. I was skeptical to go for a 3rd opinion but Mark was right on. He & his staff really knew what my needs were and all work together for a common goal. My quality of life is above & beyond my dreams!

Here I am now 6 months after my surgery planning a real vacation without worrying about handicap accessibility. This spring I’m already planning to put a brand new garden in my backyard.

The entire staff was courteous & professional and will go above & beyond to be sure your needs are met and get you back to living your BEST QUALITY OF LIFE!

Excellent staff and service. After a month or so of visits my quality of life improved dramatically. I had a lower back injury that was causing constant pain. Andrea has helped me with underlying strength and stability issues through targeted exercises, while Jen has been an amazing source of pain relief and wellness insight with massage therapy. 100% recommend them both. Everyone at the office is welcoming and covid aware. While augmenting with outside chiropractic visits, I know that their care has enabled me a long term solution to ongoing, work related back and hip issues. Thanks guys!

Mark is amazing. After one visit with him The range of motion in my shoulder changed dramatically. Both of us were amazed. I felt immediate relief. He is not just a physical therapist, but a healer. The staff is super friendly, the environment is very clean. Everyone that came in while was there was happy. That speaks volumes. Hands down 5 stars!

I have been using Insight Rehab (Carlson Physical Therapy) for many years for so many ailments. Mark has unlocked muscles, ligaments and nerve issues from surgeries and past injuries. They listen to your concerns and work on those areas. We were working on back strength and sciatica. You should tell him (them) about any thing that is bothering you. example, I told Mark that I could not move my left foot to the left while lying down. He looked up an item and worked on a nerve and not only can I move my foot normally but it also released a nerve and the pain I was experiencing at my sciatica, was relieved. Best team ever!
