Went here 2nd-3rd grade and I had some of the best times I've ever had in my school years. I made 2 of the best friends I could ever have asked for at the time (Jayden and Will) with my questionable anger issues and mental problems I had at the time... The school may not have always had the best ways to deal with those issues but they still helped me grow and learn to suppress them and I don't have those issues anymore. Not sure if this school is still up and running but I loved it and I have some good memories of it. Google wont let me upload an image of a memory book I have of the school unfortunately, but it helps preserve those good memories I have.

My name is Ian Strickland, I spent 1 and a half years of my time in the concrete rooms, I spent 4th thru 8th grade at that school, I’m on the spectrum (Asperger’s syndrome) and was still trying to figure out how to cope with that, the majority of staff at the Cheshire location were condescending a-holes who got some real sick enjoyment out of watching kids like me flip out, out of the entire staff body only a handful were actually kind people, I’m glad to say that in the years I’ve left that school I’ve been the most successful I’ve ever been, no thanks to it, I went to ec Goodwin for my freshman and sophomore years of high school and was part of the first freshman class in the state to get there osha 30, im now going to my local high school presuing music, if I’m lucky I’ll get into some fancy music school. I’m glad to have left that school when I did, and I’m glad I never looked back.

Attended MS here 2006-09, alot of students were out of control with lack of disk discipline. Teachers assistance would nag at you for stupid reasons and lots of rules were corny like not being able to exchange cellphone numbers to make friends nor being able to talk across tables at lunch. 7th grade year me and my best friend AW watched a former Hispanic Peer slam one of the teachers assistant who would instigate students in between the tight MS hallway about 10x making most associates from the elementary school wing have to come assist the crisis. Only person who really kept it 100 all the time with me was a old school Italian janitor Bruce, He would even take my side over other punks who messed with me. Called back once to hear how Bruce been and heard he had retired. Haven't called back since and don't plan on it.

(The five star reviews here are full of crap. Or, almost.) I went to this school for only two years in 5th and 6th grade. Poor staff and mean kids, don't take your kids here. One staff was laughing after I was upset about something. Kids would say mean things to you. One even tried to escape this hellhole. They have quiet rooms with prison-like spaces and doors, and would stare at you like a science experiment. Don't take your kids here, it deserves to be shut down. (Thankfully, there were some good kids and staff.) (They also expect you to eat a cheese sandwich that's not grilled.) So yeah, If you parents out there are actually considering taking your mentally ill kid here, let me be the first to say that there's far better ways to punish your kids.

My name is Chanel I went here from 2nd to 8th grade, i'm going into 12th this upcoming fall. I have had alot of good and bad expirences here. I remember my final year was really emotional because i had built up such good relationships with peers and staff. It was really rocky my first few years but over time they really did teach me alot. I just wish they had better ways to handle kids when i was attending.
