Just graduated from IOT in December, and I have to say it was the best decision I have ever made! They equipped me with everything I needed to succeed and be a competent Nurse. I made many friends and feel like we are all family! This school is amazing to their students and very thorough in their teaching. I felt supported and cared for while attending this school. I just recently graduated from the LVN program at IOT, and I personally had an amazing experience. The staff at IOT wants you to succeed and is very encouraging. They will help you through the program and continue to help you even after you graduate. I would like to personally thank Gabi and Latisha for their endless support and for always pushing me to do better! As well as Brandi and Hannah in admission's, they were amazing in explaining the program fully and answered any questions I had!

As a student who went through the IOT course from start to finish i must say it was definitely worth all the time and effort. I want to give a big shout out to Brandi and Hannah from the admissions department, as well as Gabi the Associate Director of Nursing. They made me and so many other students feel welcomed and honestly like we were one big family. I highly recommend contacting these 3 for any help you might need if you choose the IOT family.

I just graduated IOT LVN program, my experience was fantastic. I think people have different experiences, some good some bad, but in opinion it's all about what you put in to your education, what efforts you put into learning the material. I can say that all the staff, teachers and upper management Brandy, Hannah, Gabrianna, Jay, Wendy, Mrs. Gene. Latisha were always helpful, and available to answer any questions or help with anything I needed. I'm very thankful for everyone at IOT.

Mediocre school, it’s a joke really. Charges a ton out of their students. $32,000 to attend one year comes out to be about $100/day. For that price, I would expect the teachers to come prepared. Instead, we have teachers getting swapped in and out, some not even knowing they were going to teach a particular class and start off class with saying “what are we doing today?”
As a student, I feel we are getting ripped off. Then the school plays off how disorganized they are by saying “this is how it’s going to be in the real world guys once you get out there” When that happens, we will be getting paid to be dealing with chaos at work, but here we are the ones paying the school for our education to be disorganized? On our last test, no one in the class passed it. Particularly due to what was on the test not correlating with what was taught.
This semester, we were told who our instructor was going to be. He showed up the first day and dipped for a whole week. Now he wants to slowly pull back from teaching our semester and we are going to be getting instructors that have never taught before and being told to jump in the middle of a semester being unprepared and teach. It’s a rip off.
Don’t go here. Go to Shasta College, you’ll be getting a much better education over there and it’s more affordable too.
