Told them before hand on two separate phone calls I could not afford to pay for anything as a college student since they have a sliding scale and IVAT confirmed I would be fine and not have any charges.
YET after my intake session I was billed $60 a FOR INTAKE with someone who is not even a fully licensed therapist ?!?! I was okay with someone who was unlicensed but even during my intake this person was very unprofessional and included their own person opinions on MY life they know VERY little about and I was still charged after being told I wasn’t going to be ?!?! Insanely unprofessional and misleading of IVAT to do that to someone in my position.
