Absolutely loved the help I received from them! At the start of the hectic college application process, I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to major in, which schools I wanted to apply to, or where I wanted to end up. Working with Ivy Admissions helped me narrow my interests down to pick a fantastic major catered to my strengths and passions. Ivy Admissions also helped me sort out which schools I wanted to apply to based on my interests and personality. From there, Ivy Admissions helped me polish and revise my essays until they were ready to submit. I feel that the essay revision process with Ivy Admissions didn't alter my essays to fit a specific template as most other college admission consulting companies do. Instead, Ivy Admissions gave me constructive criticism that I had to work through on my own so that I could project my own voice and authentic personality through my essays– I felt that my essays truly represented me as an individual. Our counselor, Deena, was great helping my son write his essays in a very short period of time (since we did this late in the application process). We are very grateful for the help. There was no way my son would have cooperated with us the same way. No way. Will keep them in mind for my next high school graduate. And last but not least prices are pretty reasonable too.

I am an international student, from a French-speaking African country, who needs a full scholarship to attend college in the United States: As you can imagine, my quest for admission to one of the most prestigious schools in the US was not without its obstacles/difficulties. But I was determined to achieve my goal of studying environmental conservation, and studying at an elite institution was the first step I had to take to get there.

Getting feedback from people who are experts in their area was essential, and that's where IvyAdmissions comes in, because I didn’t have anyone around me in Benin who was familiar with the Ivy League, and I live in a french speaking country, so translating between french and english makes the feedback process more difficult. I wanted constructive feedback on what admissions committees look for in applicants. My family and I searched through a list of college consulting companies online, and Ivy responded more quickly than most other consultants, and I was relieved because time was short. Then we met with Adam. He described very clearly how Ivy’s admissions consulting system worked. We even asked him why we should choose Ivy instead of its competitors, and he told us the consultants were more focused on their clients because it’s a smaller company than most, allowing for more individualized services. And based on the feeling of the first call, we said, “Let’s go with Ivy Admissions.”

And there I met the first member of the consultant team: Emily. During the first working session, we constructed my profile by listing everything significant I had done so far in my life related to my goals. She always helped me to put my ideas in order without ever imposing anything on me. She quickly referred me to her associate, Ben, with whom I spent a lot of time working on my essays. He taught me how to be more concise and precise. He never forced me to say something but rather wanted all of the ideas to come from me. My sessions with Ben and Emily began with a review of the tasks to be done, brainstorming new goals, and then reviewing the essays line by line. We would write, reread, revise, correct, and then plan our following steps to make sure we could have the next round of writing and rewriting done before we meet again. With less than three months to write over 60 essays, it was a challenge to complete them all, and yet with their help we were able to get a tremendous amount of work done and finish them all in time.

After the applications were submitted, there was nothing left to do but worry until March 31, the decision day. At the end, I was admitted to Dartmouth University with a full ride. I strongly recommend IvyAdmission for their rigorous work, flexibility, and kindness which allowed us to work in a friendly atmosphere.
