Happy to give Ivy Tutors a well-deserved 5-stars. First, they offer so many free webinars and office hours (both open to anyone) not only to provide additional support for their families, but also to share information widely to families who don't have the same access to tutoring. Second, for their test prep, they start all students with a mock test, an accurate baseline test that your student will take to identify strengths and weaknesses and to identify areas of growth. Third, their tutors and staff are responsive, reliable, professional, and extremely well-vetted. Fourth, Ivy Tutors partners with other phenomenal experts in the field (e.g. Katie Miller a genius in education consulting for public school admissions in NYC; Linda Talton with broad experience guiding families in private school admissions) to help families broadly. Fifth, this is a woman-owned and run company! Very impressed with the help they have provided all-around, and from a personal note, I am grateful for the terrific help they have been for my family. Ivy Tutors really helped my daughter (and the whole family!) get through what would have otherwise been a very grueling and stressful college application process. My daughter had Andrew Spencer for math, and grew a lot more confidence with the kinds of questions on the shsat. I will be happy to return to Ivy for a couple more sessions, trusting their professionalism and work ethic and high quality of tutors. The tutor made it easier for us to all be in the loop in a whatsapp group, so my daughter and I could better keep track of assignments. I love this and many other helpful hacks.
