10/10/2024 - My second visit to the Jeanne B McCoy Community Center for the Arts was for another New Albany Lecture Series with the invited guest America Ferrera. Truly an entertaining evening with the actress, author, director, and producer. This 16 years old New Albany, OH center provides comfortable seating for 786 guests, a bit stage, good surround sounds, nice lighting, friendly ushers, decent parking to and from the center, and decent prices. Nice modern interior with two large screens for guests that have further and higher seats. The center is also accessible to guests with medical equipment. Clean restrooms.

02/06/24 was my first time visiting the Jeanne B McCoy Community Center for the Arts. The event was The New Albany Lecture Series with the invited guest Misty Copeland who is my favorite ballet dancer. The 786 seat venue is nicely structured and provides a nice view of the stage. The stage is big and suited for cultural events. There are two elevated large monitors. Nice lightning and surround sound. The seats are comfortable. Parking spaces nearby. Prices contingent on the event.

Nice venue. Easy and free parking. Decent leg room between rows if you happen to be fairly tall like us! Clean restrooms. The wine was $10 and $20 for a plastic cup. Skip it…it’s bottom tier. We saw comedian Brian Regan. Skip him too, if he comes back to Columbus. I barely grinned. He’s just not that funny. Lovely workers at the venue. Efficient seating process and very personable.

If you're going to a sold-out event, go a bit early to get parking. The lots were full when we last went. Everything was clean and well lit. Staff were friendly and courteous.

Sensory friendly symphony is amazing! The entire staff is so helpful and welcoming. They TRULY WANT everyone to relax and enjoy the show, HOWEVER that can happen for you! I actually liked it more with the noise and movement! And kudos to the musicians for being able to not miss a beat regardless of what sounds or movements are happening around them. Makes me think of the symphony on the Titanic! THANK YOU!!!

This performing arts center in suburban Columbus is a gem. Soft, contemporary design with lots of wood accents make it feel like you are at home, albeit a big one. Comfortable seating. But the outstanding feature is one you cannot see... it's the superb acoustics. Anywhere you sit in the hall, the sound is crisp, clear and totally enjoyable.
