My child has joined JKA Los Angeles for 4 years now. He really likes it there. This dojo is very big and clean, the mats are cleaned before and after practice. The instructors are very dedicated, friendly and patient. They are very serious about their karate practice. They do not only teach you karate but also self discipline and the importance of training hard on a consistent basis.

They also go to many karate tournaments so my son gained a lot of confidence and experience from it.

They also have guest instructors from Japan to have joint zoom sessions or they fly from Japan to Los Angeles to give in person instruction. My son really learned a lot from this dojo.

I highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to learn karate.

My daughters and I joined JKA, Los Angeles six months ago and we are very happy to be members. The instructors are very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. I feel that we have learned and progressed significantly since our start. Our Dojo is part of the larger JKA community and I think it is great that we can go to another JKA Dojo without having to start over. Instructors from other JKA dojo's have come and held seminars. Also there was a fund raiser to help out a dojo that was lost in the recent "Camp Fire" in Northern California. There is certainly a sense of network and community in JKA.

The best Karate Club and friendly service. They are charging only $25/month for training. Also, I received Japan Karate Association Passport from this school which I can visit any JKA dojos by same rank in the world even I can visit any dojos in Japan. I believe that the JKA is the world largest Shotokan none profit organization and oldest Shitokan Dojo in the world.
