I scheduled 4 weekly sessions with the same math tutor for my teenager and the tutor only came to 1 of the 4 sessions and left early that one time so she could prep for her next session. The remaining sessions she cancelled last minute (even though I scheduled all of the sessions a month in advance and she accepted all of the dates/times) so my teenager was stuck with a different random sub tutor every time. I had no ability to reschedule or cancel these sub tutors because the original tutor cancelled last minute every time. Today I waited over 30 minutes to speak with customer service to complain and was told I would hear back by the end of the day by the tutoring department (ie before the next prepaid session with a random tutor that they reassigned my child) but no one ever emailed/called me. The worst part is my child hasn't learned anything and is completely frustrated because she had to start over every week with a new tutor. *Here is a follow up, I did end up getting a call from their Customer Service and they did end up refunding me and giving me some free sessions to use if my teenager wants to pick a new tutor and give them another chance.

My son struggled with algebra but his dedicated tutors Akili Thrower and Zeke Ramirez helped him understand concepts and pass the class. Even more impressive, he passed his 8th grade SOL math test for the first time ever thanks to his tutor's individualized test prep.
Can't recommend Stride Learning enough. The tutors made all the difference for my son's academic success and confidence. Wish we still had access to their excellent services but it's not offered in my son's new school district.

Stride Tutoring is a great resource that can help students with a variety of subjects. Students get a certificate teacher, 1:1 or small group instruction once sessions are set up by school staff member or parent. Sessions are flexible and gives our students the extra push they need to be successful in the classroom.
