Writing this review because it’s my second time there and food continues to be amazing. These are my family and i’s favorites:
-shrimp ceviche (the best we’ve had so far)
-beef chaufa - chaufa de carne
-seafood stirfry noodles - tallarin de marisco
-peruvian seafood soup

Food tasted so fresh!! And large portions!

We ordered other things on the menu which i cant remember but they were good as well!

Good experience and good food. Owner is very friendly and let us know about special requests they take for special Peruvian dishes like Cuy. We got there kind of late so I didn't get to order what I wanted. What I can say all the food we did try was very FRESH. If you want to order their rotisserie chicken, you should probably call ahead. We will be back so that we can try the other food on the menu and I will update when I do. ?

The BEST Peruvian restaurant in the area!!!! Kampawasi’s food is authentic Peruvian and delicious ! Food taste just like the dishes I have eaten during my many travels to Peru. My family and I are very picky but we have all agreed that we are very impressed! We have dined there several times already and will continue to support this local business.

Ive eaten here 3 times. It is a small restaurant, with only 10 tables that seat 2-4 people, but with authentic Peruvian food! The proteins have never been dry. And I never leave still feeling hungry. The food my husband and I get have never been disappointing. There probably isn't much you can do in the area they have (the reason why 4 out of 5 stars for atmosphere) and they have put a Peruvian motif on the walls. They should advertise as a call ahead and pick up on the way home from work. Since it is right on Santa Barbara.

Stopped in to check out the new Peruvian Restaurant, Kampawasi. Very cute and clean. Friendly service. We got the yuca app and 2 Pisco sours. Everything was good, just a little pricey at $35. We will go back to try the ceviche etc.

They keep improving their flavor, bread is bigger now and chicharrón is tastier, the tamal is still great! Amazing Lurin breakfast!
