In the Fall of 2023 we started working with Kaplan- Cohen Tutoring as it was recommended by an educational professional that we should hire an Executive Functioning Coach(EFC) for our son as he was having trouble focusing on his work in his classes, completing assignments/ homework and turning his work in to his teachers in a timely manner. I can honestly say my son has gone from struggling to succeeding! Michelle ( the owner) was amazing, she listened to us as parents, read my son’s assessments/reports/IEP and paired him with a wonderful and experienced EFC. We could not be happier with our results with Kaplan-Cohen Tutoring!

I have used Kaplan-Cohen tutoring with two of my daughters. Their prices are a little higher than most tutors, but they have multiple high quality tutors that can support more advanced math and science classes. Recently, they were very responsive when trying to get some last minute tutoring sessions for one of my daughters in college taking organic chemistry. I also appreciate the follow up notes after each session as you usually will not get the same details from your kids.

A rare instance when 6 stars is appropriate. Whether it was determining the test for which your child is better suited, providing tangible test performance tips, or witnessing the weekly growth in confidence as 'practice test' scores climb, Michelle knows her business like a stockbroker with insider trading information. She spent 30 minutes with us just to determine our daughter’s needs vs. placing us into a cookie-cutter track, which provided multiple options among different tutors for each test section. The tutors were available in-person or on-line, and make no mistake about it–our tutors got perfect scores in their specialty areas. Michelle even shared with us an “extra credit” section for students whose strengths aligned with that academic pursuit

We have had an incredible experience with tutors from Kaplan-Cohen tutoring! My daughter has worked with three tutors, in subjects ranging from Geometry to Verbal SAT prep and the results have been better than we could have hoped. Each tutor empowered our daughter to feel confident with the material, improve her organization, and even enjoy subjects she did not enjoy previously.

Michelle does an amazing job matching tutors to students and is very collaborative with families. We provide information about our child (learning needs and preferences, personality, etc) and she provides detailed information on possible tutors to provide an optimal experience. We expected quality tutors but have been blown away by their expertise and experience and how positive our daughter has felt been about each and every session. Michelle and her team of tutors really go above and beyond and it is clear that they love what they do!

My daughter's tutor from Kaplan-Cohen tutoring has been fantastic! She is extremely knowledgeable and understand how to teach/relate to the student on the subject matter.
