In visiting from Indiana and am amazed at everything! This was a great quick visit from Kenai. The kids lived throwing Rick's into the water, and my son-in-law was daydreaming his next fishing trip! I like that "Kids Don't Float" provides kids' safety vests at ask the boat ramps and docks.

Beautiful weather and a great afternoon fishing for sockeye salmon. you will catch your limit quickly. The eagles will be watching over you.

Way over crowded. It was hard to find parking. There were fish remains all along the shore. It seemed like it could be a good place to camp and fish if you got there early enough and if you don't mind the fish remains. I would consider trying it again but not any time soon.

Great place! No trash and we'll kept. We stayed at Moose Landing in Soldotna and this was a quick trip to do some fishing, had a blast. Highly recommend moose landing in Soldotna also.

Lived here 1970< was told salmon fest can not park over night at boat ramp area private property. So.how is it it is public access to the beach that I saw dozens of trucks and recently viehicals come and go from the same spot. I loved it down there any where in Alaska.
