My daughter has been a student of Katherine Marton for five years. She started with Katherine’s Algebra 1 class, which prepared her very well to succeed with straight A’s in high school Honors Math, IB Math, and Calculus. Katherine is highly regarded as an extremely talented teacher. Her calm, caring manner puts her students at ease. She has the unique gift of seeing exactly what her students need to thoroughly understand and master challenging concepts, which gives her students more confidence in their math abilities. Her vast experience and years of knowledge makes her an excellent tutor. She has been an invaluable math mentor over the years, from jr. high, high school and now college. I give her my absolute highest recommendation.

I wish I could give Katherine 10 stars. She is AMAZING. My daughter graduated 6th grade a bit below grade-level in math. She homeschooled for 7th grade and had the "I can't do it" attitude when it came to math. We would constantly argue and there were tears on both sides. She had no interest in a tutor, but I knew something had to change. The minute Kat Math came into our lives, things spun around in the best way possible. My daughter suddenly WANTED to go to math tutoring and was always smiling at pickup. She flew through her weekly lessons and started feeling so confident in math. My daughter completed the entire 7th grade curriculum with over a month to spare. Kat is one of those people who just knows how to teach math to kids and truly loves it. Highly recommend. Worth every penny.
