This place is very abusive. I would not recommend sending ur children here they will take away ur child’s toy, phones, and personal items. They Prioritize younger children, and they never get in trouble. With the older kids their always trying to get them in trouble or suspend them. The system is not fair. Don’t send ur children here unless u don’t care about them. The guy I showed is the only nice teacher and he won’t suspend you.

I grew up with the boys and girls club being honored. Today they made my daughter call me and tell me she was being rude. My daughter has disabilities and sometimes comes off as rude but not trying to sound rude. When I filled out the paperwork it asked if there was anything they should know so I made sure to this in her paperwork. Today however they made her call and tell me and then call back and have me come get her. I asked to speak to the teacher and she said they make the kids call to learn to take responsibility for their actions. I flat said it's still their job to call and let the parents know what's going on then have the child talk with a parent, I then explained that she has disabilities and was told to come and educate them on her well why when it's all in her file. Why ask us parents to fill out paperwork ask specific questions then tell us to educate them. I feel that they need to be educated on making sure they know the children they are with. My kids will never go back to them and I have absolutely no respect for how they acted maybe they should take responsibility for not making sure they know the kids. I Don not recommend the boys and girls club.

I tried to get my child in who goes to Soldotna Elementary, but children who go to redoubt el have priority and there is a wait list where children have been waiting since 2017. The gal who I talked to said “every one knows this.” Apparently not because I had no idea and when I tried to call the main office at kenai to verify enrollment no one answered the phone or returned my calls, and she said I should have called her directly. So, long story short if your child goes to Soldotna Elementary there is NO option for boys and girls club.

My two youngest children loved the boys and girls club of Kenai. They have since graduated and are looking forward to college. They had wonderful programs and were a huge help with their after school program as their dad and I both had full time jobs. I would recommend them to everyone.
