This was my first time ordering with Ken’s and it was a great experience. I inquired about a machine after hours and they responded early the next day answering all my questions. I received an invoice to pay via email (called the store to confirm it was correct because your can’t be too cautious these days with online sales) and Amber was very kind and understanding of my concerns of wanting to confirm the invoice via phone. The price of the machine I ordered was reasonable (and cheaper) compared to other online stores selling the same machine. Once paid, it shipped same day. I received it 2 days later! It was great! I look forward to working and ordering with them again.

My husband wanted to buy me a new sewing machine for our 32nd anniversary. After a lot of research, I decided on the Janome Skyline S7. I called to ask about a refurbished unit and spoke to Ray. Ray helped me with the purchase, verified it was in proper working order and shipped the next day in the original box. When I opened the box, I was a little concerned as the styrofoam was broken. Thankfully the machine was fine. It looks like it's brand new with no show of wear or tear.

This machine exceeds my hopes and expectations! The buttonhol, overlock and gathering stitch makes everything so easy! Zippers are a breeze, as well.

My only complaint would be that there aren't inch measurements at the front of the plate, so I have a hard time knowing where 1/2" is, etc. I've gotten into the habit of just moving the needle over to the right spot.

I’m so happy I reached out to Ken’s when I was ready to upgrade. I had such a good experience with them. I told them what I was looking for, why I was needing an upgrade, how much affirm approved me for. They picked out a Janome skyline S3 and I’m in love. I just got my machine and it is more than what I was looking for and the price was perfect. They were very helpful and Amanda answered all my questions. I’ll never buy a machine anywhere else. I posted a video that I took for my sewing friends. It has a button that automatically backstitch’s knots and cuts the thread.

Update I couldn’t figure something out on the machine with the stitching suddenly not stitching properly. I called and spoke to Will, he walked me through the problem over the phone. He was super helpful. It was my error bc I accidentally skipped a step. He talked me through fixing my mistake and it fixed the problem.

This js the reason I ordered from a small business. If you have a problem you can call and speak to someone directly and they want to help you. You are not just a number. They want you sewing!

Not caring for their customer service. Paid for two additional zipper feet right &left they sent me welt feet not zipper and omitted the foot that actually comes with these machines and base. Asked for these , was told bluntly , I have everything. Wanted to return it due to that and they ghosted me.asked again. They claimed they sent my feet and sent it without tracking number so I don't know if they did or not or just said they did.

I learned they sent me the original tracking for the original order and have given me the run around on this order.

I have sent them a photo of what zipper feet should be. These are not. They sent a return label to send the machine back, but have not said anything else about the correct feet.

My issue is that I paid over $120 for the wrong feet

I have owned a finer men’s store in Southern California for over 40 years. Today, in my tailor shop, we had an issue with a particular sewing machine. I couldn’t find local help to fix the issue and resorted to trying to get help online. I will say we were absolutely blessed that ‘repair wizard’ Jeremy happened to grab the phone. Within about 30 minutes over the phone from 2,000 miles away, Jeremy had walked us through fixing the machine!! I offered to send him a check for being such a life saver, he just said it was not necessary and he was more than happy to help. The least I could do was to post an honest review and hope that drives more business their way because it was just a great experience.

After a week of looking at sewing machine online and watching the videos that I believe that Ken does himself on every sew machine about helpful his staff and how they can answer any questions. I called got a gentleman to talk with and he was not helpful at all. This is the first sewing that I'm purchasing new so I want to get a good one. I have always in the past bought used one and I'm tired of them always breaking down. So I told him what kind of sewing I did and what I would like to have on this new machine. He told me I could get something for 599.00 or above. And I asked is there any cheaper ones he said no. We'll I know there is because I have been staring at them all week online. So instead of talking to me about maybe a refurbished one that was the end of the conversation. Was no they aren't any cheaper ones. So as far as ken saying his staff was the most helpful. I have to disagree. I'm more confused as ever and will probably be buying another used or from another companies. Thank you

I have a Baby Lock Jazz II that I purchased during Covid. I ordered from a supply company and it was delivered and has sewn like a dream for the past 3 years until a few weeks ago. I took it to another shop, tried to explain what it was doing but I was pretty much ignored by the service person and told they would call when it was ready but said it would be a few weeks before it would be looked at. That should have been my cue to take my machine and leave but I wanted it repaired so I left. Long story short, 4 weeks and $200 later I get my machine home and ready to get to work and finish some Christmas gifts. First stitches it's doing exactly the same thing! I was LIVID! I turned it off and did something else for those gifts.
I brought my machine to Ken's Friday morning. Not only did they listen to my explanation of what was happening, he wrote it down and was genuinely trying to understand what I told him. Within 2 hours I get a call it's ready! I got it home and was a little nervous trying it with the previous experiment I had but it is sewing like a dream and I could not be happier.
Cost was what I would expect and service was excellent! KEN'S has a new customer here! It's worth the hour drive for me!!!

Excellent experience!!! Customer support was very supportive when my machine was delays through ups. They answered all my questions. I've bought 2 machines now through them, sewing and embroidery! Can't wait to upgrade to an industrial machine. Will definitely use them again!!!!! And I'm not local, I'm in Sevierville Tn area.. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
