My niece has been riding with them for a few years. They teach children and adults 5 and over. They offer small group lessons as well as private 1:1 lessons. Check out their website for introductory lessons. They teach all levels of riders, from horse handling to show jumping. They also have horse boarding and combined lessons/boarding and leasing available. There is a nice shaded seating area for parents to watch.

My 10 year old has been riding for more than 2 years with KEA. She absolutely loves her time there and we love all the nice folks who are out there for lessons as well. Nicholas is a great instructor who has a great rapport with kids. It’s a great way to keep you or your child active and off a screen. In addition to riding, we have learned all about caring for horses. Right now my daughter’s dream is to be a veterinarian to help keep animals healthy and their people who love them happy.

The experience at Kern Equestrian Academy has been exemplary. Cheyenne the pony is the great with the beginner students. The kids love riding her and brushing her.
