We were with Kiddie Academy starting Day 1 basically! I sure wish I could share pictures from the inside, with the staff my children adored -- especially Ms. Vallini!! (spelling)

We loved working with Ms. Shannon who was the director when it first opened -- when my son would be the only kid some days! We didn't get to work with Autumn (Director) long before we left, but she was always very helpful.

The app was a neat touch, but not updated in-the-near moment as we thought, but we ultimately had to go because of price-point. I know it's common for all daycare places in the Bay area, but it's cheaper for me to just not work (work hours when my hubs is home) then try to add in after-school care. But, if you are desperately in need of after-school care, we liked Kiddie Academy over the other options in Brentwood.

Very clean, and worked to accommodate my son's specific allergies! My kids miss it -- almost every time we pass by (1.5 yes later!) they point it out!

Hello parents, I am a proud mother of a 4 year old boy that has been attending Kiddie Academy in Brentwood since he was 2 1/2. We ( my son, husband and myself) love this educational child care. We have had our son in other daycares before Kiddie Academy and trust me Kiddie Academy has exceeded our expectations. They first and foremost feed your child all day, from breakfast to lunch with multiple snacks. My child enjoys the meals too and there is always a vegetable on their plates. He now loves carrots because of this place. The teachers are very kind and patient. My son used to have issues with nap time which I believe is hard on the kids and the teachers both. Therefore all parties involved need to put in work. The director Autumn was very hands on during that time. She made it easy for the teacher and myself. Eventually he started going with the flow and now that is a chapter behind us. Listen you can not just expect to just drop your child off and believe they should do all the work. You have to work with teachers and staff so your child can grow. If you have a child who isn’t napping like in my case, you should work with the teachers and perhaps make some changes at home. Have them take naps on the weekends and talk to them about the importance in napping. I know it is not easy and it’s a lot of hard work but we need to work together. I love Kiddie Academy because they treat you like family and that is actually what they have become….our family. ❤️

My 2 year old son attended the Bumblebee Classroom at Kiddie Academy for 3 weeks. I found out about the cameras on his 3rd week there, the first day I was able to watch the cameras was the same day I disenrolled him. He was having a hard time adjusting, staff and the director told me it is totally normal for kids to cry the first couple of days.

Throughout the day I wouldn't receive pictures/updates unless I called/emailed the Director Autumn to ask for them. I understood after watching the cameras why I wasn't receiving them. My son was being IGNORED by staff & I'm 100% sure this is why he was having such a hard time adjusting. From the moment he was dropped off he was crying, staff did not take the time to acknowledge his feelings or redirect him at all. He was reaching for Shannon multiple times, tapping her shoulder, begging for her attention and she carried on taking pictures of all the other children happily playing and doing activities while my son was CRYING. When I went to pick him up I immediately told Autumn that my son would not be returning because of what I had witnessed. She told me it was hard because they are short staffed, yet this particular morning their were 12-13 kids with 3 staff in the classroom. The ratio is 12:1, so I'm not exactly sure how staffing was an excuse for my son being emotionally neglected. 12-13 kids in a classroom and all of them are playing fine except one child who is walking around crying, yet not 1 of the 3 staff could stop and acknowledge my son?

Rishu, ask Autumn to show you the footage from 1/26/24. My son was dropped off about 9AM and was gone by 10AM, you will see exactly what I'm talking about. He was wearing all black, you will see him trailing behind Shannon. Their is no excuse for the way my son was treated, my son has feelings, he is a person. People like Shannon who can't treat all children equally should not be working in your establishment. It was so heartbreaking to see how my son was treated. I am working very hard to provide the best for my son just for your staff to turn around and treat him like he is nothing.

I would give zero stars if possible. I pulled my toddler out because I witnessed in person and via camera teachers aggressively pulling kids by their arms. One teacher self reported because i saw her and new I would bring it up to the attention of the director. I had 3 separate meetings with the director about the treatment I witnessed which also included my child. After witnessing 3 separate incidents in one day coupled with other reported ones, I had enough. It is obvious to me their teachers are not trained to be around kids or they simply do not care.

We are loving Kiddie Academy! My daughter wakes up every day and the first thing she says is, "I want to go to school." That is something that makes us happy.

The teachers and care takers at Kiddie Academy are kind and caring. The curriculum is fun, engaging, inclusive, and covers real-world information. My daughter has attended Kiddie Academy for over a year and I watched her language develop, her social skills, fine motors skills, and her gross motor skills all grow and develop. I know she is safe and having fun with friends and can trust the teachers and care givers at Kiddie.

Personable caring staff. My son loves going to Kiddie Academy of Brentwood. I cannot say enough great things about Mrs. Autumn and Mrs. Noelle. Best desks in I made to enroll my son here. They have gone above and beyond with the new non-norm with distance learning to help us working parents. I highly recommend Kiddie Academy.
