We love kiddie academy ! Our son is thriving at the Vacaville location and he absolutely loves the staff. The staff really make the child feel loved and cared for. The staff is also very kind to the parents and leaves us in the loop about events / upcoming things for the classroom. 10/10 recommend kiddie academy

If I could leave zero stars I would. If I could leave negative stars I would. This place is a total SCAM. To begin with they KNOWINGLY and willingly took $1400 EXTRA and are NOT willing to refund me and make things right. They send out letters saying they raise their tuitions which is fine, whatever. What they don’t do is send out a letter or even change it in their system saying they lowered it back. They say parents should “know” they adjusted their prices and ask for it to be lowered back down to what they are charging the new parents. I wouldn’t have known I was being charged extra until I asked for pricing to send my daughter and noticed the tuition was different on the paperwork the director gave me. I told her the prices weren’t updated and she said they were accurate and they have been charging me extra. She would change it for the following week of tuition. Ive contacted the credit bureau and nothing. I left a negative review for the feedback they ask for and the director called me. She said there was nothing she could do even though she was the one who knew the prices and still chose to charge me extra every week. Who knows how many parents they do this to and how many parents don’t know and are being charged extra because they’re “supposed to know” with no information to state they lowered it. The first red flag should have been their teacher turnovers. By the time my son had got there the assistant director had quit. The new assistant director was there for a couple weeks in and out. She finally left and there was another new assistant director. The room overflow ratio was crazy and over allowment because all the teachers were quitting or wouldn’t show up. By the time my son left kiddie academy over the course of two years there were maybe 3 teachers left that were the original teachers. The teachers that were there always had attitude problems and wouldn’t even say hi to parents walking in unless they liked your child. There’s not much parking in front of the school and what parking is there is taken up by the teachers and the director who I think should park farther away because theyre there all day and there are little children being picked up and dropped off all day. My son would cry saying he didnt want to go everyday. We just thought he didn’t like learning. Nope. They would single him out even when something bad happened to him by another kid. They would somehow flip the story and make it my sons fault. They would always send him home after anything he did saying they can’t have those “situations” there. Meanwhile when something happened to my son no disciplinary action took place for the other students. The teachers are constantly yelling and cursing at the students. The building always smells like pee. Fast forward my son is now in kindergarten and he LOVES it. So it isnt education my son hates. He just hated the environment that kiddie academy has and I don’t blame him. I wish I would’ve spent the extra money they were charging me and sent him to the learning experience. The learning experience is so nice and thats were all the teachers who quit go to. Needless to say I won’t be sending my daughter to kiddie academy and Im hoping this review can save a couple kiddos from going there too.

My kid has been going there for almost 2 years and they’ve been very good at making sure his homework gets worked on when they are back from public school. My son loves it here to the point where he asks if he can come on school breaks. Hopefully in the future I can get my youngest to start attending.

Really i dont like whats going on her at this place my daughters three can bearly talk and still needs her diaper changed and i personally dont think other people should be allowed to change my daughters diapers like her mom thinks that its ok but i dont think thats ok i dont think they should be able to watch younger kids that cant talk or say whats happening to them i know my daughter has aggressively progressed in being mean like kids are being mean to her or the teachers are because shes scratching and trying to bite all of a sudden and she crys everyday before dropping her off and i really think theres something going on that shouldnt be like the other day my daughter whos 3 yrs old ran up to me and grabbed the part of my belt that was sticking out and she lifted my shirt up grabbed the belt and stuck the rest into my belt loop i asked her mother where did she learn how to do that i didnt teach her that and she doesnt watch me put my belt on ever either so how does she know how to put the rest of my belt on thru the loops weird thats not normal and there is other things that makes me worried i wouldnt let my 2 or 3 yr old go there unless they can talk and understand what they are saying and unless they are potty trained but thats my opinion

I'm revising my review to only one star and that's because there are a few teachers in this facility I have grown to like. If your child is in the ladybugs classroom or is a butterfly or really anywhere other than the dolphins class they will do just fine. However, if your child is placed in dolphins please be aware of the older white hair bitty that has been seen yanking kids by their arms, and talking down to them like they're dirt. Her military tactics seem to get overlooked by any of the management (even when there have been several complaints from other parents about her behavior), and is still working there even after she's been caught placing her hands on someone else's child. Don't people go to jail for that kind of thing?!? It is unacceptable as she is a bully to these kids and all management does is "talk" to her. Not okay and I will never recommend her class to anyone I come in contact with...ever!! She needs to be removed and her teaching license revoked.

Staff is great, and my daughter loves it!! It can be a little costly weekly, but having said that, you can't put a price on piece of mind and great child care. My child is thriving, learning, and is well cared for, and that is priceless, to me. She has really come out of her shell because of the staff. I would recommend anyone to bring their child here.

Very very bad experience,, if I could give 1star I will,, I put in my 2 years old there , had to take out her immediately after 3weeks with them, she will not leave us she cries all the time , she so scared terrified from the teachers or I don’t know!!!

Customer service is bad ,, there is only the assistant director who’s good there!!!

lack of staff puts a huge strain on kids to where they are being picked as if they are an auction item to whose going to be in a fun class for the day or a babies class do to limited space . Why does this put a strain on the child well if you have an alert kid as I do daily he would have anxiety on rather today would be the day he would be in a fun class or would they pick another kid . Now if your doing this amongst The staff then that’s ok (out of site of the child) but no they sit In Front of these kids and break their hearts picking over smaller kids shifting kids from this class to this one ITS NOT RIGHT.

Parents pay all this tuition money and the kids are not being placed in grade level classes they should be in they are placed where there’s room . I don’t blame the young ladies who work there I thank them for their patience but new management is HORRIBLE ESPECIALLY WITH THEIR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE ON HOW TO RUN THE PROGRAM the owner does not care as to what complaints parents may have and it’s sad . instead she goes by the word of these woman who of course cover their own behinds so they don’t get in trouble . What about the kid who went home sad cause he has kids saying send so and so to the baby class because they know when they hear SEND OVER TWO that’ someone has to go . Well IN this case that was my child and it tore him apart he’s sweet he doesn’t cause trouble at all but he has experienced this situation on numerous occasions . when brought to the attention of management every one covered their behinds and came up with excuses.

My kid has been here for years and finally the straw that broke the camels back was when I finally decided to speak up on How they talk in front of these children with no regard as to rather these kids are listening . Well like I said my kid is very smart and has came home sad or down because staff is talking bad about other parents or his own parent and that hurts . Why would he be comfortable amongst woman talking about the only woman in his life his mother . It’s not OK . It doesn’t matter what the situation may be between two adults a kid should never experience that type of behavior from trained professionals. (The list goes on )

Pros : dolphin class helped my son a lot with curriculum, and the kids are all amazing.

Cons: management lies , they don’t take responsibility for there mistakes instead they make the parents feel as if they are wrong for speaking up .

Would I recommend NOPE NOT IF MANAGEMENT IS THE SAME .

Kiddie Academy really takes time to listen to how you feel/wants and will try there hardest to achieve it for your child you yourself. I absolutely love every teacher they have there it’s constancy is the best, Also the great educational program.
