Pooja has been an absolute game changer in developing our first grader’s reading/math skills. Most importantly, she has created a fun and safe environment that has helped our child build confidence. We interviewed a couple other local sites and those other instructors lacked basic social graces and created stressful environments. We are serious about our child’s development and pushing her, but want learning to be fun (even if it’s hard sometimes). We really appreciate Pooja’s ability know when to push and when to give her space. Seeing our daughter’s progress and excitement to go to Kumon twice a week is truly a gift. We are incredibly grateful for the remarkable impact that Kumon Belmont has had on our 5-year-old over the past three months. Before joining, he found it difficult to stay focused, rarely sitting still for more than five minutes. However, thanks to Kumon’s structured approach, he now enjoys sitting for up to 30 minutes to work through math and reading worksheets. I am an absolute fan of this Kumon Center, and Pooja is a phenomenal teacher! My child is learning so much from her and doing so well in her class. Pooja uses a gentle discipline approach to make sure our child pays attention to the classwork, which we then replicate at home when our child is doing her homework. Pooja coaches and encourages her when she is stumped but also celebrates her successes and milestones. We look forward to our child's continued success under Pooja's tutelage.
