I am a former Kumon student! I attended from 2006 starting in the one in Durham, and then Chapel Hill in 2011, and I stopped attending around 2018. I managed to complete the reading program but sadly did not finish the math program! But the instructor Jiming Wang was excellent and he always helped me and wanted me to succeed. I have known him for a long time. Kumon seriously helped me all throughout school and I managed to get ahead. Wang really helped me throughout difficult parts of Kumon. He even offered to help me with math in tutoring via community college at the time - never happened. But yes I’d highly recommend this Kumon center because of the instructor. Wang was excellent and always helpful and can’t say enough of how helpful he was! I hope he’s doing well as I haven’t seen him in years! Thank you Kumon!

Kumon on has an amazing program but what makes Chapel Hill Kumon so great is Mr. wang who puts this so much into teaching the kids. Environment is supportive and motivating. My kids definitely would not have excelled as they did without Kumon and Mr. Wang. The owner Mr.Wang is extremely nice, no matter how busy he is, he always keeps his patience and genuine smile. All of the other staff throughout those six years are wonderful, to name a few, Maia, Hanna and Charity, they are all very kind to kids! Highly recommend!
