Our daughter has been attending Kumon at this location for 9 months now and she really enjoys it. Her math and reading skills have greatly improved since we first started and we are now confident that she now has a leg up on these skills as she enters 1st grade. Christine has done a great job keeping us up-to-date and informed on her progress since joining.

If I could I will give this Kumon zero star. When you sign up they gave you many promises and did not happen in real time. They expect 4th grader to turn their homework assignment by email. How can that be possible? The kid don’t even know how to type. The reason parents sent their kids to Kumon because they don’t have time to teach them. My kid was instructed to turn in his assignment by email and I ask the manager, if he can print the paper version to turn in. She told me they don’t have enough man power to do it. What’s kind of selfish answer was that. They only look at their convenience and they don’t care about anyone else. Of course they already tied you
with 1 years contract. My son went there almost 6 months and I don’t see a lot of improvements at all. If you have so much money to burn for nothing that’s the perfect place.

Thanks to YOUR lack of attention for MY dear kids, they've been saying, 'hawk tuah' just for my attention. By the way, they've been saying that for WEEKS. Most likely you've been having the same problems, but if they had just enough attention, they wouldn't be nagging me for it.
I have to pay 100+ DOLLARS FOR THIS, at least make it the slightest bit cheaper? You people are stealing the money I so painstakingly worked for. Overtime, hours, and more? But I'm doing it, since I'm a good parent for my children. At least I hope I am in their eyes as well.
You people make me pay 100+, for thirty minutes per day. My kids might even come home CRYING because of your teaching. The tests may be too hard and you have to lower the grade level just a little bit, and make it higher once they've learned.
Overall, Kumon is a good place for education, but not so much for mental health. You might've even hurt their feelings.
They sometimes come home all sad and hungry since my poor kids say these classes are hell. Do better Kumon. I know you can.

My son whose autistic attends both locations for the past 2 years. I couldn't be happier; they've completely changed my son's life! The team is extremely professional, endearing, and attentive. Christine, Joseph and the rest of the team work extremely hard to make sure our kids learn to read, write and do math. My son is more confident now, so its totally payed off. I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you Kumon!

I’m a high school junior who has attended Kumon for the past eleven years. Having finished both Reading and Math programs, I attribute much of my success in school to Kumon. It has helped me develop good study habits, become self-motivated to learn., and I’ve always exceeded in my math classes because I would’ve already been familiar with the concepts that my peers were learning for the first time.

I’ve also been working here part-time for the past two years, so I’ve gotten to know the staff at this Kumon both as a student and worker. Christine and the full-time staff truly care about all the students. Some students may call Christine ‘mean’ but I’ve never seen her that way. For example, if students are not completing homework or are causing disturbances, she’s definitely in the right to be stern with them. I think she’s strict because she has expectations and wants the students to improve.

Personally, I like working here because I enjoy interacting with the students and staff. I admit Kumon isn’t perfect, and there are improvements that can be made, but I’ve enjoyed the majority of my experience here. Overall, I think all my years at this Kumon have been a good investment, and I’d probably send my kids here in the future too haha.

this place is pure hell and is terrible, i will rather listen to the thick of it for a full week than do level C. I remember reminiscing me in normal math class before class because i hate this place a lot. it deserves an average 2 stars (only because they gave me 250 dollars in kumon plus for going there for almost 8 years)

I used Kumon when I was a kid struggling in Math in grade school. I didn't benefit from the tutoring here because it was mainly group tutoring. If you're behind, the tutors seldom put you up to speed. I'm sure the tutors and their service has changed over the years, but for the purpose of this review, I didn't like coming here. Furthermore, parking was always difficult with people double parking to pick up or drop off their kids.

Instead, I went to a private tutor and learned better math skills at Quantum Leap School than at Kumon.

Ms. Christine runs the Daly City KUMON like a well-oiled machine...she is fully aware of every single student, their comprehension level, their progress and the areas where they need more attention. The level of improvement we have seen in our daughter's math is impressive, and we are very grateful to Ms. Christine.
