Both of my children have made remarkable progress in their current grade levels and helped them improve their math skills and problem-solving abilities. I would recommend Kumon Plymouth to any parents looking for a program that fosters both academic growth and self-discipline in their children.

My daughter had difficulty counting to 20 and often skipped numbers. After a month of Kumon, she could count to 50 and recognized all the numbers as well.

They have the students come in twice a week and they work with a tutor. The tutors work with two students simultaneously for 30-mins or an hour if you’ve selected two subjects.

The only opportunity I think they could improve on is being more vocal on what your child needs to work on after their Kumon session is over. For instance, I didn’t realize my kid was rushing through the tracing and didn’t find out until a couple weeks in — it would be nice to know upfront after the Kumon sessions.

Regardless, this is a pretty good program.

She is now so far ahead in math, her 4th grade teacher has her help other students with their work. Her reading is now way ahead as well. This is a great place for kids to learn of any age level.
