After my time working here as an instructor, I have found the Kumon program to be incredibly valuable. The program not only strengthens your child's academic skills but also builds their confidence and independence in learning! Kumon program is a great program to invest in. Your child will not only develop their reading and math skills, they will also learn time management skills, perseverance, how to work towards a goal and self studying skills. Mrs.Lim is a great instructor who is well versed in child development, lesson planning and in the curriculum. The staff is very friendly and the environment in the center is very positive. In the three years I have worked in the Rowland Heights Kumon Center, I gained valuable knowledge and experience that I will carry with me always.

Great instructor, great staff, overall great environment! It's very clear that the instructor knows what she's doing. She uses the information she knows on child education and psychology, and takes that along with a child's strengths and weaknesses in order to motivate the student and help them improve. The staff is super friendly, they are all knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help with anything! Definitely worth the price, you're paying for the curriculum as a whole---the individualized study plan, the benefits that come from building strong study habits, and the long-term effects! This center teaches a lot of strong study skills and habits that help form good routines and will benefit students largely in the long run!

I really enjoyed my time at Kumon. The staff are welcoming and supportive and the atmosphere is friendly. The work provided is enough to improve your skills but not too much to overwhelm you and the motivation and help from the staff keeps you pushing forward. Kumon helps you build a strong foundational skills that have a huge impact on future education. As a current sophomore in high school who has completed both the math and reading program at Kumon, I will say that Kumon has definitely helped me improve in many aspects. The math program has helped me become faster and more efficient when doing math problems, and has taught me easier methods to use when doing certain problems. The reading program has allowed me to get better at reading comprehension and really understanding the meaning behind words and excerpts. Kumon allowed me to gain better study habits through the daily homework packets, and pushed me to be a more efficient student overall! I would highly recommend this institution!

Kumon has made a significant difference in my life. Before Kumon, I deeply struggled with my math and reading comprehension skills. Furthermore, I also had trouble managing my time effectively for studying. However, ever since I joined this program, my academic and management skills have improved greatly. I spent 5 years in this program, and since then, I have always been ahead in school and my management skills helped me adapt to not procrastinate and keep a steady schedule. Without the Kumon curriculum, I would have not be as academically successful as I am today. Ms. Lim directs the center in a way that will greatly impact the futures of students in school. Its focus on developing comprehension skills and having a growth mindset mindset allows students to show gradual improvement in school and in their study habits. All in all, Kumon is a great program to invest in, for it helps students get ahead in school while creating the positive mentality needed to persevere through any hardships a school may bring.

The staff is really great here. The instructor does a great job when it comes to helping students and she mentors her staff very well. Lots of students excel which is great
to know that any student can be successful given the right skills. Extremely friendly, and very beneficial for the students who attend. Definitely recommendable.

In my 6 years of Kumon, from 3rd Grade all the way to my freshman year of high school, I have learned the most valuable skills in life and in academics. Kumon taught me the steps to math problems that I constantly struggled with throughout school, but something I realized was that Kumon taught me resilience, determination, grit, and the value of hard work. It was here that I formulated my study habits along with opening a new perspective to the way I learned. By tailoring a study plan to my specific needs and abilities, Kumon has provided me with the support and guidance I need to make progress at my own pace. I didn't realize it at the time, but all the carefully crafted packets and worksheets that Mrs. Lim (Head of Rowland Heights Kumon) and the Kumon staff made for me, were for the benefit of my learning. The programs emphasis on study skills and self-discipline has undoubtedly helped me develop good habits and practices that will serve me well beyond the classroom.
