Our family has been with Kumon at this location for almost a year and it has been a transformational experience for our son's development. Doris, Fred and the team are amazing educators and not only provide support for English and Math development but really look at child individually to create an emotional, mental and academic supportive development plan. In particular, our son started here in Kindergarten and Kumon really helped him transition from Preschool to Elementary school environment. Lastly, they have created a fun diverse community with many great families and we are grateful and lucky to have them.

We are very satisfied with Ms. Doris’ Kumon Center. She really cares about the kids’ success and my kids enjoy learning with all the teachers here. She emphasizes the importance of daily homework, and my kids work on their Kumon homework without complaints. Also, she is great about communicating their progress. We are very pleased with this Kumon program! Our daughter loves going to the tutorial center, and it motivates her to work hard at home. We are very impressed with the program and her performance. My husband and I agree this is the best place we could have enrolled her. She is using the curriculum for homeschooling and already is ahead of her peers. We are very grateful to have found Kumon Santa Cruz, and she will be a student here as long as we are in the area. My daughter and I had a conversation about Kumon on our way to class today. She said she has been reading books at school, finishing her assignments early in class. and helping other kids. She recognized this is all due to her Kumon practice. we are extremely happy with the attention and dedication of the Santa Cruz Kumon team. I am well in the loop on my daughter's progress, as she needs improvements and shows her talent. I would highly recommend this class to any parent.

I have seen great progress in my daughters’ Math and Reading skills. We also appreciate the Kumon staff’s attention to detail and encourage our kids to focus on their skills. We like how Kumon will also focus on the kids’ mistakes and help them understand their mistakes in Math and Reading. Our daughters enjoy coming to Kumon weekly, the reward for doing well has really motivated our kids to do well.

I cannot thank Doris and the Santa Cruz Staff enough! My daughter has only been enrolled for 3 months and she has gone from barely being able to count to 20 all the way to 100! She was very unsure of her letters and now she is learning to read and write. I was referred by a family member whose children attending Kumon in L.A. Best decision we could have made! My daughter loves Kumon and brags to family and friends about her teachers, homework, and Kumon Dollars. Little sister cannot wait to go to Kumon with her big sister.
