Both my children attend Kumon of South Windsor!!! I’ve seen so much progress in my son’s reading and math skills since he started this program like a year ago. I am so proud of him and appreciative of the staff at this location. My daughter started 2 weeks ago and we’re still working on her being focused in class, she’s 2.5 yrs. Miss Lee and her team are supportive, excellent and respectful. I’ve had all my questions and concerns including my son’s progress answered by Ms. Lee in a timely manner. She is fantastic! Also want to shout out Abi at the front desk for always answering my questions when Ms. Lee is in the classroom.

I am so glad I signed my kid up for tutoring at this center. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and professional. But Abbie always goes above and beyond to help my family. When my kid is overwhelmed she’s always super supportive and encouraging. She’s so kind and gracious when we need modifications to the workload as well as understanding & patient when I don’t have the grade sheet filled out completely. It’s nice to know that when my kid is in the center that they have a trusted adult that makes Kumon feel more like community than a business. I highly recommend signing your kid(s) up for tutoring here. My 3rd grader has improved substantially in reading and math since beginning less than a year ago. They moved up 8 lexile reading levels in 8 months & I’ve overheard other kids marvel at how fast my little one does mental math.

Most pathetic experience. No complaints against the program itself,but the instructor. She would not change levels for my kids for 8-9 months or more , specifically my older who is doing much higher level in school. She is doing very well in the class and in home, she would not move her to another level. It’s all about money making, nothing to do with kids education.

As a parent who spends most of his time away on business, the last thing I want is for my kids to fall behind in their studies when I am not around. At the same time, I am hesitant to trust individual tutors or even learning centers with less than stellar pedigrees. After trying a few options, I can confidently say that I have found what I am looking for in Kumon.

The staff are courteous and professional, the facility is kept clean and organized, and the lessons are well-paced to ensure that my boys are on par (or ahead) of their peers in the classroom. I was initially skeptical about the structure of their lessons, but I can assure parents of any new students that their system works incredibly well.

I have seen astounding results during the time my sons have been enrolled and definitely believe that the instructors are eager to motivate children of any age to succeed.

The Kumon curriculum no doubt has accelerated our child’s learning, much more than we could’ve ever done on our own.

We’ve found the South Windsor office to be especially kind and caring. Some lessons take longer than others, but Ms Lee and her team spend the necessary time with each kid to ensure they are progressing as needed.

We believe that enrolling our child in the South Windsor Kumon program will pay dividends in the future.
