We have had a fantastic experience at the Kumon Math and Reading Center! Both of my children, ages 6 and 8, really enjoyed coming here for extra help in math and reading. We've seen significant improvements in their skills, and it has boosted their confidence at school tremendously. Ms. Li is excellent to work with—she is patient, knowledgeable, and truly cares about the progress of her students. Hi Both my children have attended Kumon at this location for several years now. Mrs Li and her staff are wonderful and have really helped my children advance in both Math and ELA. I must share for anyone on the fence if their kid isn't behind in either subject, this isn't just for remedial catch up. Neither of my kids were struggling in either area and were at the top of their class but Kumon has helped them continue to stay ahead and has made the class work easier for them as well. They are able to grasp the lessons quicker and get through the assignments easier. It has also built their confidence. My son even gave kudos to Mrs Li and her team recently when he won a math competition. When asked how he worked through the problems so quickly, he said, 'Kumon taught me strategies that makes it easy to compute in my head'. Thank you to Mrs Li and all the staff for your dedication to each of your students.

One of the best centers of Kumon in the area. The instructor is thoughtful and close enough to the family and kids to make sure they get right workload and plan for their studies. My kids have improved tremendously and I can wholeheartedly encourage any family wanting to help build their kids skills in Reading and Maths here.

Mrs Li, has helped my children grow tremendously in both math and English. For instance, my son is in 1st grade, but is performing at a 3rd grade level in math and this is all thanks to Mrs Li's encouragement and guidance. She believes in her students, wants them to thrive and achieve their full academic potential. Would highly recommend Kumon in Silver Lake for students of any age.

I was incredibly pleased with the instruction that both of my children received at Kumon. Ms. Li is an excellent instructor and cared very deeply about my children's progress. She updated me frequently about how they were doing and ways in which I could help them to improve with their math skills faster. When I first enrolled my daughter at Kumon, she had completely shut down about math. She was so confused that she was like a deer caught in the headlights about math. The Kumon method was so beautifully structured that she lost her fear. In addition, she learned discipline, as a result of having to complete the nightly homework sheets. My daughter attended Kumon from the 3rd grade through the 6th grade. She is in High school now and is an A student in math. I decided to enroll my son, who is five years younger than my daughter in Kumon once he entered the 2nd grade because I could see that he was already starting to get fearful and confused about math. This was the best thing that I ever did. He just attended Kumon for one year and by the end of it, he was where he needed to be and has continued to do well in math ever since. He is in the 4th grade now. Kumon also helped my son learn to gain focus and sustain his attention to task for a longer period of time. I have been meaning to write this review for a long time but life always manages to get in the way. Kumon was a life saver for my children, so I wanted to let others know about it as well, so that they can also benefit from this wonderful resource.

5/15 - I changed to zero star if I can after I received abused emails from Mrs Li, the principle.

Under staff, don't have the right people to supervise, shorten the classes for over 15 minutes, let a 7 year old kid wait outside of the center by himself due to the class ending early, not well plan courses but don't let parents complaint, and not even take responsibility after things happened, but just sending abused email to cheat. You terminated my kid from Kumon to perform your power as a king of this tutoring center like you mentioned in the email "I don't need to work with any family that is unhappy with us."
