Kumon West Hills has been life-changing for my child! In less than a month, my child reading and math improved drastically. Ms. Candace is amazing—patient, dedicated, and truly cares. The receptionist is also so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for any child’s academic growth!

The West Hills center is great. Ms. Vickie and the staff there are knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help or answer a question.

The great thing about this method is that, although the staff helps out, they do encourage the student to take initiative to learn new material themselves.

My 8th grade daughter has been going to this center since 2015, and her math grades are awesome — all A’s all the time. She’s ahead of her class, and her last state test placed her in the 98th percentile.

What’s more, our daughter has learned to rely on her own capabilities and resources to find the answer herself.

It’s a very supportive environment. There are recognition programs and a way to earn points which can be redeemed for various items.

Sometimes it's a bit of pain for my daughter to keep up with the worksheets, but it becomes easier once she gets into a groove. The worksheet approach is important because it asks the student to read the question and to figure out a solution. It doesn’t just focus on memorization.

My child has made quite a bit of progress here at Kumon Center of West Hills. Ms. Vickie, the director of Kumon, and all the teachers are all amazing. They are extremely committed to the students’ progress and staff are walking around to ensure that no student is struggling. I am very impressed how the center is run and the director, Vickie is always available to answer questions I have. My child is excelling in both math and reading. I give Kumon Center of West Hills all the credit.
