I can give La Petite of Decatur a confident 5 star rating based on my how well they’ve cared for my children for several months now. I have multiple kiddos of different ages and genders and they’ve all enjoyed their time at La Petite. The staff is consistently friendly and encouraging and prioritize making my kids feel at home and appreciated. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Sabrina, the director. She’s done an excellent job at communicating with me and making sure I need to know everything I need to know about La Petite’s processes and calendar. I really appreciate that I can check in on the live stream through their Sprout About app and visually check on the kiddos. I’ve had a strong positive experience for the last 8 months at La Petite and I’m thankful for all the work their teachers and staff put into making La Petite a good childhood experience for my kiddos.

I have had my daughter at La Petite for 1.5 years since she was 4 months old. The biggest decider for me was their camera system. It really helped when I was a nervous wreck and even now it is piece of mind. I love that I can check in on her throughout the day. I also really like that the teachers post pictures of the kids napping, playing, and eating. They really have a good time.

We have been using them for almost 2 years now. I really love the changes that Ms. Sabrina and Amy have made to drive consistency and make improvements. You can tell they are both passionate about the care, safety, and education of the children. My 2 year old loves his days there and is learning so much. It is great to see him excited to go there each day.

Would not trust anywhere else with my baby. we have been there since right after we turned 1. things used to be a little rough, but in the last year, the new director has turned that place around. Ms. Sabrina is so dedicated to not just the well being and safety of the children, but their education as well. she has hired the best teachers and the turn over rate seems significantly lower than it used to be. we feel so lucky to be part this school.

Took a tour and was not impressed. The person giving the tour did not seem up to the task and didn’t really care to talk to me but was forthcoming to the other individual taking the tour. My child requires religious accommodations which I am willing to provide if the establishment does not. When asked about accommodations she simply respond that outside food was not allowed and that if my child cannot eat meat on Philly Cheesesteak day she will receive what she can eat: bread and cheese. Furthermore, there are cameras that provide a live feed but none of which actually records. God forbid anything happens. Also if you saw something happening on the live feed taking a screenshot will lead to being locked out of the application. Babies don’t go outside either. Lastly, and for your information, jailhouses make religious accommodations and the United States Navy has outlawed bread and water for prisoners.

I highly recommend this daycare! The staff is always friendly and welcoming and loving to my child. It is clean and well kept. I enjoy having access to the cameras in my child’s room to see him at any point of time. They are a very professional center that you can trust with your kids without any doubt!

I would not waste your time in taking your child to this center. Sabrina the director called me yesterday to confirm our tour today. She also stated that there would be availability for my son’s age group in August. Upon showing up today we were met by Sabrina would didn’t remember having a tour today. Then blamed not being able to give a tour on multiple call outs and did not offer to reschedule. I asked her in person about availability of my son’s age group and she then changed it to late September. She questioned me like I had called the wrong center. Her customer service was unprofessional and made it so we will NOT be trusting them with the care of our son. In addition, the first thing we noticed was how dirty and unkept it was. This review is to protect other parents from wasting their time!

La Petite Academy is a awesome school. I love it and I really love the staff. Everyone is loving and caring, understanding . The Director and her Assistant is very awesome. My son teacher is Ms. Heather she is a very wonderful teacher. My child loves her. She is so into her students. I have no complaints. If you are new to Decatur in looking for a awesome Preschool La Petite is the best.
