I have two children who attend La Petite Academy, and they both love it here! This place is not only great for social development, but it’s a great head start for kindergarten. Mrs.Heidi is currently my daughters teacher, and she’s doing an excellent job of preparing my child for elementary school. My son, attends La Petite as an after school program, where he looks forward to seeing his friends. The staff here are friendly, kind and trustworthy.

I made the mistake of taking a chance on this place aside from the previous reviews. I thought to myself well they have cameras what’s the worst that can happen.

Boy was I wrong. I left my kids here for 1 week. In December of 2022 my two boys attended this place ages 3 and 5 at the time. They left my 3 year old crying for over 45 minutes as he was new he was having a hard time adjusting. On another day he was upset and lunch was given to him. He was crying and instead of allowing him to calm down they just picked up his plate and threw it in the trash. Some of the food fell from the snatching of the plate my son ate some of the food off the table because he was hungry.

On multiple occasions they were out numbered. The topping on the cake for me was seeing one of the staff grab a child and forcefully make them sit down. Then you can see that she was scolding the child as she pointed her finger in the child’s face in a aggressive manner. At one point the child tried getting away and the lady wouldn’t let her and kept grabbing her hand. Making the kids stay with her.

I think this place needs better staff, better management and more inspection

My baby has been with me at home since he was born. I started taking him two months ago and since he has been going there he is more social and interacts better with people. Mrs. Lupe and Mrs. Lorraine have been excellent teachers and they have a lot of patience with my baby and his transition. I am very happy that my son is going to La Petite Academy. He is in the two years old section.

This is the best daycare center in the High Desert. I have 3 children and all 3 have attended La Petite. My youngest started at 6 weeks old and he is now 3. Ms. Gloria took care of him like he was her own and I will always love her for her compassion, time, attention and concern. She is the best. Once he was 2 he moved on to the toddler area and the transition was rough but teachers like Ms. Lorraine, Ms. Lupe and Ms. Sharde helped him adjust and learn so much. Now he is 3 and his teachers are Ms Jane and Ms Sharde and they are so helpful and attentive to my baby boy. My daughter is in the after school program here and her teacher Ms Jennifer helps her with homework and makes her feel special. My oldest son no longer attends but when he did he enjoyed it as well. La Petite is the best!!!

I have had my son in this school for two years and could not be more pleased. I just had him tested for his new school for kindergarten and he scored really high. I give all the credit to La Petite Academy. Before choosing this school I did look at other centers but La Petite was my first choice. Their security to get in the building impressed me as well as the professionalism of the office staff. Ms. Tammy was my go to person when I needed help or clarification and she always followed through. The teachers my son had always kept me informed with the app which made me feel safe leaving him. I was able to see him learning and now I know how much he has learned based on his kindergarten test. I do recommend this school.

I would not recommend this place. I was sitting there signing my kids in as I noticed my daughter was in front of me crying I don’t think the teachers realized the glass of there class was right in front of the desk of admin. As I seen a teacher scream at my daughter “why are you crying” I also seen the same teacher pick up a boy and scream in his face to stop crying. I did not finish signing up as I went to pick my daughter up from that awful teacher. My son was enrolled too me thinking he was older he can tell me anything that happens he came home and told me the teacher told him he could not have milk while everyone else has been given milk as well as she yelled at and let another kid pick on him. This place is a nightmare. The bathrooms are disgusting as I seen used toilet paper everywhere. I would never take my kids back.

I love La Petite!! I have been taking my children for 3 years already and I wouldn’t choose to take them anywhere else!! Nothing but good to say about the whole facility and staff!! I’ll start with Miss Tammy, the director. She is the very best and very professional!! Whenever I had a concern or issue she has always been there to address it and fix anything that needed to be fixed!! Miss Naomi is also very good with taking care of things and running things as well!! On to the infant room, my oldest son started when he was just under a year old and is going to be 4 soon! I love miss Gloria!! She has been there since we started, took care of my oldest son until he was 2 (as he needed to move to the bigger class) and when I had my second son he started when he was just 4 weeks old, now 1 year old and again Maria has been there taking care of my baby you can definitely see the passion she has for what she does! We absolutely love her!!! Miss Tishaun also in the baby room is great!! She just recently started but feels like she’s been there with my baby forever he loves them both!! Miss Lorraine who is in the preschool class and the infant room also, she takes care of my 3 year old and my baby and we love her just as much!! Miss Sharde is also one of my favorites that takes care of my 3 year old! She has always treated him as her own!! Only one of my girls had miss Janet the pre K teacher and she is just the most kind hearted there is! My daughter loved her and mind you, she has a tough time adjusting with people but with miss Janet she just clicked!! Miss Jeiede the Junior K teacher, I have so many kind words for that woman but I will make it short!! Both of my girls graduated Junior K with her and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to teach them and prepare my girls for Kinder the way she did she is amazing!! Miss Jenifer that is in the school age class is just always so full of life! It looks like that class is nothing but learning and fun!! When I’d pick my girls up it looked like they were having a party every time!! Last but not least the cook Miss Lashawn, I couldn’t thank her enough for safely preparing the children’s meals! They have always said it’s delicious! They love the food and always have!! Keep up all the great work La Petite!!

I am beyond blessed to have come across the day care facility!
I was so nervous about enrolling my daughter in day care, as I grew up with the mentality that family helps watch your children. However when my daughter turned 2, I needed to find a provider. This has been one of the BEST decisions I have ever made. The STAFF here has absolutely impacted my life for the better. Almost 2 years in and I had a newborn and the transition was something I was not concerned with because I knew my girls were in GREAT hands!
From the Director Ms. Tammy and Ms. Naomi that make everything go so smoothly as far as paperwork and payments and creating a positive atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door.
The Infant Room has been a blessing. Mrs. Gloria starts off my baby girl's day, she immediately lights up as soon as I walk her in the room. Ms. Teshawn gives her the perfect ending to a long day. And all the ladies that help in between like Ms. Lorraine, Ms. India, Ms. Martha... I know everyone helps everywhere when needed but my girls adore all the friendly faces and warm hearts.
Also a HUGE thank you to Ms. Sharde for loving my older baby since she was barley 2 and preparing her so well for the transition into Ms. Janet's Pre-K class. Her love for learning truly has been implemented in her because of you guys!
Even our lovely cook Ms. La Shan that my daughter says she loves because she makes such YUMMY food and you care about her tummy!lol
You are all an amazing team and my family is blessed to have you guys put so much dedication into providing a safe, loving second home to my girls. Thank you!
