My family and I attended an educational event sponsored by Laguna Canyon Foundation and the OC Parks called "Bats of Orange County." The speaker, slideshow and display were fascinating and fun. Afterwards, we were guided on a tour through the park to listen for bats through an electronic sensing device. Everyone had such a great time and the kids absolutely loved it! They were having so much fun listening for bats and chasing frogs near the lake, we couldn't get them to leave. Sign up for one of LCF's events - it entails enjoying the outdoors, costs next to nothing, is educational, fun and different.
