This place was the absolute biggest blessing to my family after my mom ended up here after a massive stroke. She came here after months of hospitalization and acute rehab. She was still no where close to being able to return home and Learning Services got her there in a couple months. Every staff member there was amazing, the therapists were amazing, caregivers and nurses were amazing, the RN case manager was amazing. It was the biggest burden relieved once she was here because of how well she was cared for. True angels work here. Forever grateful for this place. It also a beautiful and peaceful location.

My wife Kotomi Takeda had the greatest care from her caseworker all her therapist and staff. She had been in 3 other facilities and she made the best improvement at Learning Services. They truly know how to work with brain injury residents. Our hearts go out to all those who actually care for both of us. I tried to be with her as much as possible and the staff treated me with upmost respect and compassion as possible.
I have told many that if they have a loved one with brain injuries or damaged they need to be treated at Learning Services.

My wife became a resident for 1 1/2 years. She had been in three other centers two that were great and thanks to the one that was not led me to seek a better place. I heard that San Jose Med center had new rehabilitation center when I went to inquire and listing to our story the head of the center called me back and said you need to get your wife to Learning Services in Gilroy they are strictly engineered to work and help brain injury clients or they like to say residents.
Every single staff member from the director to the maintenance staff are the greatest. So many involved in helping residents. Their main therapists of course physical, occupational and speech are the best anyone could find. Beyond that they have what is called living therapy where all attendees help teach residents to help themselves as much as it is possible per residents. I have talked to many people about our experience there and always state if you have a loved one with a brain injury Learning Services is the only place for them. Some said they couldn’t thank me enough and said they would be looking into getting someone there that was not family but dear friends.

Like all of the American healthcare system, this place is all about money. If you have any kind of settlement, run away fast! We met many people in the facility that had huge settlements (millions of dollars) and a conservator. The facility worked with the conservator to keep the patient in the facility as long as possible. The focus seems to be managing the conditions, rather than seeking improvement for the patients. I was in this facility during the start of the Covid pandemic, and they did a good job handling all of the Covid restrictions. I feel fortunate to have escaped unharmed.when our insurance money ran out
