The owner is warm, kind and caring, she set my teenage son up with two strong tutors and it has been a positive learning experience through and through. I also highly recommend the Mind Mapping they offer to bring light to strengths and weaknesses to better educate your child.

Leslie’s Tutoring Center has been INCREDIBLE for my family. Initially, I was seeking summer support for my 2nd, going into 3rd, grader as he’s behind in school and I wanted to prevent summer regression. Walking into Leslie’s Tutoring was/is a breath of fresh air! Every tutor we have worked with has been SO passionate, loving, supportive, and creative as they approach my son’s education and learning style (ADHD, ASD, dyslexia concerns from school). We just received our fall test scores, and he increased his reading score by over 100 points over the summer!! Went from “urgent intervention” needed to “on watch”! ?

After seeing all of the services offered, my soon to be Sophomore began tutoring lessons to increase his typing skills - no formal classes are offered at his school. Like any teen he stated “I don’t need that. I type fine”. He’s been attending Leslie’s Tutoring for about 4 months now and LOVES it! Not only is he working on typing, but they have helped him identify his strengths and weaknesses when it comes to how he learns and processes things. He’s been working on Executive Function skills and ways he can become a more effective student. His ability to self-reflect at 15 years old; identifying where he is falling behind and creating an action plan has been very empowering… and way less micromanagement by mom regarding school work ?

Leslie’s tutoring center has been such a blessing for my son. After years of trying to get things figured out we finally got answers about him being dyslexic. After asking for references I was told about Leslie’s and got him into tutoring. His tutor has been working with him for about a year now and he went from not being able to read to reading in this last year. The amount this has boosted his confidence and improved his overall school performance is amazing!! Every teacher he directly interacts with at school has told me how impressed they are with his progress and how his tutoring is proving to be an amazing investment. Our tutor Kirstin is such a sweet person and he loves going to tutoring. I can’t even begin to say enough positive things about our experience with Leslie’s tutoring center!!!
