Good: beautiful campus, as LAVC Student you can book private study rooms with group of 2 people.
Be careful: look at the receipt they give you when you borrow the books and make sure to inform yourself about the random opening hours (e.g. They close for graduations). Once you take the book you have to come in person and extend it every 4 weeks.
They do penalise you for not bringing books back in time (50$ per book) but then wave it. The stuff could be friendlier.
Spring semester 2023 was NOT silent in the afternoons. My friend often left home as she was bothered.
Better to go to second floor Tutoring Center - they are friendly, cool and have study rooms too.

They have wifi for guests but you can’t have access to internet unless you’re an enrolled student. Very disappointing!
