Been going to solano for a year now and I really like the vibe in this library. There’s an open space downstairs if you wanna hang and study and a quiet study area upstairs. They have single and medium sized soundproof conference rooms with dry erase boards that the staff lets you sign up for by the hour with your student ID. Some of them have flatscreens which is good for looking at slides when you’re in a study group. Had a paper to write and the librarian helped me find what I needed with no problem. If I had to say something, I guess it would be the location on campus is a bit of a trek depending on where your class is. I think the free printing makes up for it though.

I am extremely upset with this library. I was attempting to do my work and was being very quiet and respectful. No one else was being quiet or respectful at all. There were adults of all ages being loud, arguing, laughing, having loud conversations all over the building, that had nothing to do with assignments at all. I brought this up to multiple staff members and they didn't do a thing to help me and instead asked me to sit in the middle of the room upstairs...where it was still loud. This is not a library, its a hangout for "teenagers". Very disappointed that they do not enforce their yellow and red policies.
