Im not sure why people are giving a 1-star rating with comments like: “separation of church and state” and “it’s unacceptable that taxpayer money is being used” since Lifeway is privately funded, they use their (or a local churches) own space to host the meetings and parental consent is required for kids to attend. I think it’s unacceptable that people are trying to tarnish lifewise academy’s reputation with false information.

This isn't as much about religion as learning that every child is loved and valued. The kids learn values like love, joy, peace patience, kindness, goodness, and self-control. Who wouldn't want that!!

If you want your kids to have a faith based learning experience, fine...send them to private school. Shame on every voter, politician, and parent enabling this.

Keep church and state separate. Originalist conservatives should support this separation. Keep this religious extremist away from our public school students.

This group should not be allowed to be in the schools. They've used loop holes to pry themselves in, and use predatory tactics to get kids and parents to sign off to go. Separation of church and state, they should not be alienating other kids because it's not their religion.

This is brilliant. Totally separate from the school system, kids are given the opportunity to be taught spiritual matters. This will benefit our society for generations to come. Kids are learning virtues like love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, self control. How can we go wrong with that? Do not believe the lies of the nay-sayers... This is not brain washing. It is not forced indoctrination. It IS a free program where kids can be taught that life is bigger than themselves and submission to Jesus Christ is the highest calling.

The recruitment methods for children step over a line for me as they are allowed to be inside the school recruiting during back to school and other events. This back to school night the lady running recruitment, who is NOT an employee of the school, kept touching my child's shoulder! They are also told repeatedly throughout the year that the kids who are in the program are getting candy and treats while the kids who aren't are sitting in specials thinking they are missing out on something.
