Our experience with lighthouse exploration & learning center was far from great. Our 3 year old was exhibiting aggressive behavior/ language. He was explaining kids were pushing him down and using mean language (words that we dont use in our household) After we expressed our concerns we had countless sit down meetings/conversations through their protal talking about what was going on and what could be done to insure that our 3 year old was in a safe environment and were being told they were taking our concerns seriously. The teacher started implying the very detailed situations our son had either told us or acted out weren't true. The last two weeks of him being there our 3 year old was hit in the head with a shovel leaving a bruise and everday after that was coming home with scratches either to his neck, hands or face. The last scratch he received on his face was a deep gash that the teacher had the audacity to say he intentionally did to himself. Our 3 year old is very verbal and told my husband and I that another child had done that to him. That was it for us as they weren't being truthful and showed that our sons safety and well-being was not their priority.

You've come to the right place! Whether you're homeschooling/not/undecided Lighthouse is the best helping hand! We school at home and have been SO grateful to our Lighthouse teachers for an assist in setting a great foundation. My four little ones have all gone to Lighthouse & we LOVE it! The children's curiosity is stoked & their eyes filled with wonder as they explore their world through watching chicks hatch, observing their creations from painting with unusual tools, learning to wiggle their bodies to music or creep around like a certain creature, and so much more. They learn teamwork & courtesy as they utilize most senses making playdoh together, help each other at snack time, create a water/tube structure together outside, etc. Most importantly they learn how to love & treat each other as Jesus taught & showed us. They do this by reading the Word, and hiding it in their hearts through singing & ASL signing. It has been so comforting knowing my little people are given the direction they need at Lighthouse while I focus my efforts in schooling my older ones. And we SO enjoy the creative family events when we can all explore & discover together! So grateful to our Lighthouse family! We love you! 😉

A safe and loving environment for kids. My children thrived here. I thought my son would have a tough time in school but this place prepared him for it. Only wished they could have more. grades
