The team at Live Oak Jiu Jitsu is exceptional. The instruction is top-notch, fostering both technical skill development, fun, and respect. The atmosphere within the dojo is truly unique and welcoming. Alex, Park, and Jose have created not only a beautiful facility but also a supportive environment where every student feels like a valued part of the team.

Whether you're a beginner or an advanced practitioner, Live Oak Jiu Jitsu is the place to train. Over the past seven months, I’ve seen more significant improvement in my skills than i’ve ever seen, and I attribute much of my progress to the guidance and support of this outstanding team.

Brought my kids here to start learning some self defense and to stay active and I couldn’t be happier with the coaches here. This academy has great kids classes and great adult classes. Highly recommend checking this place out if your considering it.

I'm currently a 3rd degree black belt in BJJ and stopped by live oak while traveling for a drop in class. Excellent gym with huge mat space, shower
s and even an office area for members. Chris park and alex Lucas are great teachers. Classes are small enough to get personal instruction. Very friendly students. I highly recommend.

I got to stop in to this Fairfield Jiu Jitsu school while I was in town with JiuJitsuInsurance.com and got to check out this state of the art bjj studio. The coaches have a structured program for all level practitioners plus they are doing great programs for home schooling kids and group (public) programs that are really unique. Check them out

I am not confident in my stand up game and take downs have always been difficult for me. Today I went to Live Oak BJJ in Fairfield take down class and I loved it!! Coach Pack was very patient, kind and very detailed orientated. He broke down every move making it very approachable and less intimidating. Even our warm up help to get out bodies use to doing take downs. Love this class will be coming back thank you coach pack.

After looking for something for my grand children to enjoy, I found myself taking classes. I must say, coach alex, his wife and everyone I have met so far have been so welcoming and kind. Their lessons are great regardless of age. Thank you all for your kindness, patients and encouragement.
