My husband and I hit a sandy patch while driving on a steep dirt road in the Alabama Hills. Our car slid about 15 feet down an embankment. When my husband exited the car he fell and rolled another 15 feet down the rocky embankment. He had numerous cuts over his arms, legs, back and head. A CHP officer and 2 members of the Lone Pine Fire Department helped get him up the embankment and into the patrol car. Very impressed with the rapid response to our 911 call. Kudos.

The Lone Pine fire department is truly a God send. Today they saved my dog that was missing in the aqueduct. They didn’t have to do what they did. They went above and beyond. My family is forever grateful for them. I can not say this enough, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Charlie has always been afraid to be alone. What you did today means everything to us.
